  1. Bit ironic that one week after the split he couldn't get a semi
  2. ???Glasgow officially won the cup after heat 12 of the 2nd leg .. We had qualified for final after heat 13 of 2nd leg against Rye House... Your a hard man to please
  3. Memory might be going so could be wrong but is that the first cup final of any competition Newcastle have lost?
  4. What's missing matches with minor injuries or not been arsed to attend got to do with how good he is??.. Name me one meeting he has missed for Newcastle this season with a minor injury or couldn't be arsed to attend?
  5. At 18 years old I would say yes... Not saying he will be at 20/21 though
  6. As much as I like Kyle Newman he is 2 million miles away from Lambert. Best British 18 year old I have seen ride speedway and been watching for nearly 40 years
  7. Me neither ..I can see one of them riding regularly on a Friday North of the border 😉
  8. What a load of crap .. He was technically employed by Somerset on Sunday so had everything to do with you... Also on what you are saying.. If Bates had of crashed and injured himself badly on Sunday you would say It's OK he isn't a Somerset rider , nothing to do with us
  9. In 1976 the NL number 1 was Joe Owen who used to double up with Hull .... Just saying
  10. Only one I can think of was James Birkinshaw at Sheffield
  11. Some people on here lead exciting lives.. Just counted one person who was ""neutral" posted 37 times ( yes I am sad for counting) during the course of the meeting telling us all what we were watching anyway 😉
  12. What difference does that make as nor could Stevie Worrall 4 years ago
  13. Don't think that's the case.. How many posts have said "We lost to the better team?.. How many posts have said "Sheffield wanted it more?" How many posts have said "Sheffield won it because of the performance of YOUR rider Kyle Howarth?". And in my opinion I have to agree with all 3 of the above
  14. The way Newcastle rode last night I think if Sheffield had of had Stead, Garrity, Berge and Bates in the side they would of been in semi final long before heat 15
  15. Could cost us in K.O.Cup aswell as he is due to miss the 1st leg of the semi final at Rye House next Saturday due to the ELRC
  16. You talk some sh*te.. Who is to say Doyle would of only got 8 points each at Torun and Melbourne and Hancock had won both meetings.. That would make Hancock world champion and the best rider in the world in my opinion
  17. In the Premier league play offs the " Golden double" ride is not allowed .. Makes more sense to me
  18. Are Poole fans really thick or do they not understand the rules. Of course a guest is for one night only. What would happen if tonight's Belle Vue v lakeside meeting had of been a league match and it was rearranged for Wednesday and Coventry then rearranged a match at Kings Lynn on same night do you think Chris Harris would of said Sorry Gary I have to ride for Lakeside
  19. Don't think Newcastle really wanted this date either but there are only 6 Sundays left of the season and Newcastle may need them all. Scunthorpe in league, Sheffield in play off, Rye House in K.O.Cup semi final, possible Cup final, possible play off semi final and possible play off final
  20. Nothing will change my mind, will always blame him for us not winning the league. It's like Italia 90 Stuart Pearce and Chris Waddle might have had brilliant games leading up to the semi final but I will always blame them for England not reaching the final
  21. Aye because he was absolute garbage and cost us the league title. Kenny Carter was a brilliant rider who used to ride very well in the majority of meetings but he only seems to be remembered for shooting his wife and killing himself
