  1. Michael West's under 24 Ekstraliga average last year was nearly triple Celina's.
  2. When I was learning to ride I always liked to go out on track with lads faster and more experienced than me so I could follow their lines and chase them down, made me push myself and ride like those who were better than me... therefore I became a better rider as a result. Pointless going out and beating wobblers and ending with a 12.00 average if I'm the same rider I was at the beginning of the season because I've not had to push myself at all. If anything the post that you quoted is full of ambition for his son (Luke Harrison) to get better as the season progresses against tougher opposition. At this level rider progression is far more important than shiny trophies (although both would be nice)
  3. Aye but Hans is past his best in the Championship too in all reality, Comets could definitely do better imo. I hope they sign Vissing or Rowe personally
  4. I'm hoping Vaculik but I'm not sure at all... Always rated him highly and he often seems to be forgotten about. He's ridden in this country before too if I'm not mistaken so kinda knows what he's getting himself in to. If he's the number 1 it'll be decent. I'm guessing with the inconsistent comment above me that the other may be one of the Pawlickis? 1. Martin Vaculik 2. Zach Cook 3. Steve Worrall 4. Tom Brennan 5. Piotr Pawlicki 6. Wiktor Lampart 7. Leon Flint If it is something like this, and that's meant to be the weakest team in the league roll on March!! The league hasn't looked stronger in years imo
  5. Kean DICKen confirmed... Perfect rider for the club... Really compliment eachother well
  6. Looks realistic enough for an Armadale side...
  7. Were Newcastles results wiped as soon as we went bust or at the end of the season? Therefore reverting all the riders back to their original averages...
  8. If Matty Wethers signs for Workington I will be over many times next year that's for sure. Already excited to see Antti and Tate but watching Matty again will make me very happy. Workington do need a calm, level head in the pits... Edit: Matty doesn't fit so either you're wrong or I'm wrong with who MW is...
  9. 1. Sam Hagon 2. Chad Wirtzfeld 3. Matt Marson 4. Luke Muff 5. Freddie Hodder 6. Harry McGurk 7. Jack Shimelt I've got very mixed feelings about this team. I really liked Chad Wirtzfeld when he rode for IOW so I think it's great that he's back in the sport, he should fly around the NSS. I'm really not a fan of Luke Muff, let's just keep it at that. If Harry can get back to some kind of form it'll be really good for the team. I can see this team finishing both top 2 and bottom 2 at the same time.
  10. Look at any development league in most sports there's older players/riders whatever you wanna call them. There's not an unlimited supply of kids in any sport... experience in the team is always a good thing too...
  11. And wouldn't we all hear about it if he did...
  12. Ah yes 2010... When Tate was 5, Sam was 4, Celina was 9 and Antti was 11. Plenty of youth in the team Not a fan of Craig or Troy... Could both go either way but hopefully they can keep focused... Wide open track like that should suit them both, hope it's slick
  13. Cook Cook and brennan = mpt, Allen, lambert... give your head a shake
  14. I've only seen Celina ride once in the under 24 Ekstraliga and she was miles off the pace. However it's a much tougher league than the Championship and that was at the beginning of last season, she may have progressed since I'm guessing. Although Tate and Antti (Antti in particular) scored VERY well in that league so it's hard to say. I just hope that the second someone fairly criticizes her it's not labelled as sexist just because she's a girl and she's treated as any other rider would be (under performance = the boot). I can see there being lots of drama on upcoming Workington threads lol The signing I'm most excited by is Antti Vuolas.
  15. Rene and Claus both fit... What a team that would be 1. Craig Cook 8.53 2. Tate Zischke 5.00 3. Antti Vuolas 5.00 4. Claus Vissing 6.24 5. Rene Bach 7.19 6. Celina Liebmann 4.00 7. Sam McGurk 2.00 Total: 37.96
  16. The people who are going to pay money to go and watch? It's a fine balance between development and not losing a shed load of money...
  17. He's signed for Sheffield hasn't he? And Grudziadz
  18. Borke would be a good signing at reserve? But from the rumours on here he's going to Berwick anyway. Clegg and Roynon wouldn't be that bad either. Not so sure on Nielsen, MacDonald or Proctor though... Especially the latter
  19. Glad Luke signed for Leicester. I assume with 3.33 left that the final rider will be William Cairns (When does he turn 15?) I can't tell if I like this team or not... It has the potential to be unstoppable or weak at the top end... I can't tell. Either way it doesn't matter too much because there's plenty of young riders to develop there, which is what this league is all about. 1. Joe Thompson 2. Vinnie Foord 3. Max James 4. Arran Butcher 5. Tom Spencer 6. Luke Crang 7. William Cairns
  20. Would love to see Rene Bach back in Britain... what would that leave for the final 2 riders. 1. Craig Cook 2. Tate Zischke 3. Antti Vuolas 4. 5. Rene Bach 6. 7. Sam McGurk
