  1. So... If Kildemand is number 1 for Berwick and Danyon is number 2... Could be an entertaining start to a lot of meetings 🫣
  2. Not sure how that's arrogant? I've not seen Dayle Wood once last season, but I've seen his results and they're better than the year before. I just can't get my head around why people are writing him off just because he's 30? To me that seems more arrogant compared to what I've posted. People can improve no matter what their age is and they shouldn't be immediately discounted just because of it. Best of luck to him, didn't mean to come across as arrogant if that's how you've taken it.
  3. Some people fail to understand that riders can actually go away and improve. They see Dayle ride once in his first season over here, see him struggling and immediately write him off forever as if he's never going to come to anything. I hope he flies next season just to prove all of these people wrong.
  4. 1. Ben Trigger 8.71 2. 4.20 3. Sonny Springer 5.60 4. Vinnie Foord 6.29 5. Max James 7.20 6. Jamie Etherington 3.00 7. Ryan Ingram 3.00 A very youthful team (despite someone on another thread calling them a 'win at all costs team') who would walk the league.
  5. Is he old enough? Who else is a local rider to Norfolk? I know Connor Mountain is, but too good for NDL level. They need to confirm their participation asap or no one will want to sign for them!!
  6. It's weird how some rider ride so well on the continent but can never get to grips of the British tracks. Matic Ivacic flies in Europe.
  7. Both Pijpers have already signed for Middlesbrough Edit: Sorry just realised they're in 2 separate leagues 😄 This is gonna take some remembering...
  8. Fraser Bowes has signed for Workington.
  9. Forgive me for putting him in the same thread as some of these legendary names, and I know there's a lot of people gonna laugh at this, but Ludvig Lindgren around the 3rd and 4th bends of Newcastle will always stick with me, he practically reversed it into the bends at times to get around the inside line. We also had a rider during our 2011/2012 seasons called Claes Nedermark, he had a brilliant style on the bike and I was gutted when he left. Reminded me of a mini version of bomber. Speaking of which... Why has no one mentioned Bomber yet!! I'm WAAAY too young to remember anyone else on this thread other than Simon Lambert. 🫣 Forgive me but I haven't seen many of the old style riders, I can only comment on who I've seen in person!!
  10. Better than NKI Blodorn, continental Milik and Harris but only a number 2? I'd say he's good for 3 or 4 in the team imo. Very solid rider and doesn't give up when he's at the back. I like him. Just depends on how he adjusts to British tracks, but they're not too dissimilar to Danish and Swedish tracks, where he's spent a lot of time racing. I can see him being a surprise for some fans.
  11. He'll need time to get going, like most riders will, but I'd say chances are come mid season he'll be a dependable rider
  12. I was lost 🤣 ah well. I'm not sure what average Jonas will be because I can't be bothered to keep up with the rules anymore. I just go to the meetings and hope the racing is good.
  13. We are both talking about Jonas Jeppesen, right? How can either Jonas or Riss start at 6 for Birmingham?
  14. If that's where he's starting he's a very good signing then...
  15. Not a GP star but definitely a solid 3rd heatleader/second string. 110% trier too.
  16. Glasgow's heat leaders = 23.70 Poole's heat leaders = 23.16 Not that much difference 🥴
  17. I assume Rhys Naylor will be in the team now as well. Rhys, Ben and Nathan Ablitt would be a good heatleader trio. Along with Jack Kingston, Nathan Hargrave, Sam Woods and then whatevers left.
  18. Brilliant signing 👏 especially if he starts at reserve.
  19. Depends on how the powers that be are feeling at the time. If it was a choice between Madsen and Kubera I'd chose Kubera every single time. Particularly with Magic already in the team. Imagine Wiktor Lampart or Patryk Wojdylo too... I know that ain't gonna happen though. I suspect the other reserve will be Lewis Kerr? 1. Dominik Kubera 2. Erik Riss 3. Maciej Janowski 4. Charles Wright 5. Rohan Tungate 6. One of the 3 named above 7. Luke Killeen
  20. I'm glad he will be tbh, I have a soft spot for the chargers (not sure why as I don't really have a soft spot for the Spires or Cheetahs). I enjoy watching their reruns on YouTube and they've always got a young and exciting team, jody being one of them. Nice to see them sticking with him.
  21. Now that Jody hasn't signed for the senior team and I now know that Luke is eligible for the NDL, I'll go for: 1. Luke Killeen 9.87 2. Senna Summers 3.44 3. Ashton Vale 6.17 4. Rhys Naylor 4.13 5. Jason Garrad 8.36 6. 3.03 7. Declan Killeen 3.00 Pure speculation as I don't know why Jody wasn't included in the cheetahs. I'd also love to see a team with both Killeens in.
  22. Jody Scott rather than Max Perry perhaps?
  23. Jonas didn't really work out at Redcar at the beginning of last year at number 3 and number 2, he's a decent second string and good reserve but still young and I'm sure still improving. Mitch is Australia's equivalent of Ashton Boughen (forgive the reference). He's got all the talent and potential in the world, he's very young but just hasn't had the time yet to prove he's consistently going to be successful. He's a very exciting signing for British speedway in general imo. But as you say, Heeps as second highest scorer is concerning...
