A T20 comparison was made that speedway should jus run the first bends only 🙄

While talking of a possible rain off, Redcar/Middlesbrough already have a meeting on Friday night at home( Middlesbrough Tigers v Belle Vue Colts). I don’t know if this would cause any issues as only Ace is needed in both meetings, but not sure what promoters/managers would need to be at both tracks 🤷‍♂️

Out of interest regarding Zach/Anders, when they switched riding positions did one drop off & one go better? Just people saying about Anders not hitting double figures much, obviously heat 13 on outside gates is rough some time to score points from

The next important thing for Wednesday night at Poole is who guests for Redcar or will it be R/R 🤷‍♂️

Looking forward to Saturday, even if Jake was fit, mentally & physically, is he allowed to guest again Poole? Guest rules have become a bit confusing lately with 8 day rule & different competitions. Might not be what everyone wants to be thinking of at the moment but I’m sure the management are already on the case 👍

I’m surprised it’s a total of heat advantages that count and not higher heat advantages first. Glasgow had one 5-1 over 19 races, and for me they should have qualified on that race alone. The fact Redcar had more 4-2 wins seems a strange yardstick to go by. Rules are Rules though and maybe need tweaking. Good for us at Redcar but feel Glasgow were hard done by this.

Would just like to say that the 3rd person that is mentioned took themself to hospital after the meeting. All ok and released soon after. New trousers required, for the rips off the wheel, not what you’re all thinking 😂. Would also like to say a big thank you to Jo(Redcar) and a young lady from Glasgow for attending to the unfortunate gentleman who got hurt. They both gave excellent attention until the paramedics got there & helping the paramedics also. Also well done to all Redcar staff for clearing the area, cordoning off & generally doing what was required. Certainly shook me up seeing it happen, 🤞all is good for everyone.

With it getting so late in the season, a Tigers match to fit in and possibly a BSN final🤷‍♂️, will there be a Silver Helmet meeting in 2025? Fully understand that there might be not enough riders available to make a decent line up.

Maybe, but it’s also about the variety of riders in the heats for me. The 6 rider team format is bad enough, but at least at international level you got 18 heats. 5 rider teams is only 14 heats I believe so lose,lose🤷‍♂️. Like I said though just my opinion.

As a Speedway fan that league set up has just lost one supporter. How much would you charge to watch that? It’s currently £10 to watch NDL for 7 riders, personally couldn’t justify anything more to watch that set up. Just my opinion 🤷‍♂️

Unfortunately the team holding it up is the same team the BSPL stopped riding in mid summer. Until Friday night they could have still qualified in 4 th place. You think Poole & Redcar have it bad, what about Edinburgh & Glasgow who only knew at 9.30 pm on Friday 5thSeptember who was playing who 🤷‍♂️. Crazy

Only guessing but it is SGP2 on Friday night, 12th September, so assuming Jake Mulford & Dan Thompson will be missing, hence racing on Sunday 🤷‍♂️

So what are the league cut off dates now. Already been extended once, does this mean we have another extension or do Workington now lose the opportunity to qualify?

If the 3 leagues stay and the Prem needs an extra team, could it be possible that Plymouth could move up & fill the void ? I remember they wanted to go straight into the top league when they restarted but we’re not allowed. Don’t know if they would want to now but they are the only club I can remember saying they would like to be in that league 🤷‍♂️
