  1. I thought Workington were Saturday afternoon for league matches ?
  2. Thank you, didn’t even know Martin had a sister, but then again why should I
  3. Ah, ok. Didn’t know he was his uncle, thank you. I knew Martin Hagon was his dad.
  4. Is Sam Hagon related to Martin Dugard? Watched a BSN interview and thought straight away he looked a young Martin double.
  5. Won’t be Erik then. Seasons over with a damaged shoulder/rotator cuff? Injury. Best Wishes Erik an injury you could do without
  6. Ten days to go to the “Silver Helmet” meeting at Redcar, has anyone got any information on the line up? The way the riders came and mingled with the crowd after the KOC defeat to Scunthorpe gave a sense that not all would be there in my opinion. Hopefully get some riders filtering through soon.
  7. In my opinion we have not had a good track since the last meeting before the CLRC. This is not knocking the track staff or the club, it is the weather we have had leading up to the meetings or on the day. We have used covers, graded dirt off, put dirt on etc and the track has not been its usual self. Off the top of my head: CLRC- rain before hand Glasgow- rained off after 12 Oxford- rained before start Glasgow-rained most of week before Scunthorpe- poured down Thursday Not looking to make an excuse for preparation, just had a bad throw of the dice weather wise.
  8. Both Flint & Etheridge appear to need a “round” track in my opinion, eg Belle Vue, Peterborough, Redcar etc. Leon been on long straight tracks for a while now & Jye seems to ride a “bowl” well.
  9. Rumour I’ve heard is 36 for 6 with a No 7 of 2points/ under 21/24/ British rider. Who knows. Take your pick on a No7 option
  10. I think we might be down a little bit on average allowed, but would expect the champ to go similar to the Prem in 6 riders + a rising star/2 point rider/under 21 type of team build. Also going to depend on how many teams in each league.
  11. Was supposed to be Sedgmen but obviously he got hurt on Wednesday, Flint was announced on Wednesday at the meeting. Also Provisionally Scunthorpe at Redcar next Friday.
  12. And beatable from front & behind, even at Glasgow. Is a very good rider but not unbeatable imo
  13. Flint did ok on his Redcar audition for 2024 at Oxford on Sunday. Let’s see how Friday night at Scunthorpe goes.
  14. Fine in the north but a harrendous forecast later. Fingers crossed it misses Middlesbrough
  15. It was Ian Brannan that did post a video, hence BSN getting named for it.
  16. And it could all be irrelevant if Glasgow can’t beat Redcar tomorrow night
  17. Bojangles, my quote got yours in by mistake. My Wow was to more towards Oxford might not have Scott Nicholls & the team Redcar had to put out at Oxford with 4 guests. Sorry for the confusion
  18. Wow, look what Redcar had to run with at Oxford
  19. Plenty of us at Redcar have had similar conversations all year, then he goes and rides Longtrack at bigger speeds and more riders in a race and does well. Sort of eliminates the bottle gone theory. He has loads of us confused to be honest.
  20. Redcar away at Scunthorpe on Friday as well, but would play offs overrule KOC?
  21. Never to early , go with Douggie, MPT & Luke Harrison for starters.
  22. My opinion only but I hope Kyle Howarth & Justin Sedgmen have failed their auditions to be a Bear in 2024. I know guests are hard at the moment but these two have been woeful for us. I know we need 2 guests today (3 if you include Luke) but surely we would be better running R/R on Wednesday and give the fans the chance to cheer on our own riders, & give them extra rides ready for the KOC. I know I am on the outside looking in & don’t know the ins & outs of running the team etc, just a fans opinion.
