Good for Workington to get the aggregate point, gives more teams a bit of hope going forward. Thing is they now need another one just to replace the 2 points they had taken away though. If they make the play offs after being docked them points they certainly deserve all the applause they get. Poole now racing for a tight bonus point at Redcar on Friday, can Poole lose 2 bonus points in a week?

So which forward thinking promoter is going to run an Upright V Laydown challenge meeting. Could create a lot of interest to past generations.

Wondering how Steve Lawson stands in all this speculation. All the posts seem to be about the Promotion & Andrew Bain. I take it Andrew is the money behind Workington, but Steve is a named Promoter. Will both share the burden if the Promotion is charged with anything, or is it just the money man, and is Steve now liable for anything?

Is it something as simple as a trading name change? This would then require ALL paperwork with all Authorities to be changed eg: BSPL, HMRC, Visa, etc. Grasping at straws I know 🤷‍♂️

Has a visa sponsor pulled out or changed the name of the sponsor to cause the problem? Has there been an unauthorised Promoter added or removed? Just a couple of thoughts as to why it could be administrative issues. Most Government departments don’t like name changes on paperwork without a necessary payment being made. Just a few possibilities if it’s not money related.

The referee said the tapes weren’t working correctly🤷‍♂️. Looked ok trackside but he did do a test before restarting the race. Red lights on straight away but riders didn’t seem to notice.

Serious question from a Redcar fan, do you think the 3pm start has an impact on the crowd? I🤞I will be travelling over on Saturday, but it needs planning at my end as basically it is a midday set off & 8 pm home. So pretty much Saturday done just to watch speedway. On the flip side by coming to Workington on Saturday it’s highly unlikely I will be at our Tigers meeting the following Saturday at 3pm as it would mean 2 Saturdays on the trot when other things can’t get done. Just wondering what Worky fans think

As Neila says about Glasgows top 5, it was pretty much the same for Redcar last night. 1 not firing in top 5 makes it hard work. Redcar got home by the skin of their teeth but shows that a strong top 5 can’t have a rider not performing

Bit of a silly question but would appreciate a sensible answer, is it Plymouth who need sponsors or Ben Barker & Nikolai Klindt. Just with Sponsors Needed across their chests on Saturday times must be tight.

Maybe Berwick can’t say much more though. If they do could it be possible that they may not get a facility for the start of the season🤷‍♂️. Or maybe Cook will be fit to go 🤷‍♂️. Personally think it’s the first one.

I know it’s hard to judge what is really going on but surely it’s time for the BSPL to step in and help Berwick out. It’s not impossible for them to contact Craig Cook and sort out whether he is going to ride or not. If they can’t contact him or he won’t respond then take away his licence to ride. Not a perfect situation but at least everyone knows where they stand. Let’s not forget that Cookie has a bit of history regarding BSPL events over the years as well

Just been reading that Scunthorpe v Redcar BSN fixture on Good Friday is a double header with Scunthorpe v Middlesbrough Tigers NDL Fixture. 3pm start. Well done both promotions for making it a worthwhile trip 👍
