  1. From a leicester fan don't fix what isn't broken. We moved up and the crowds have slightly dropped and I can't say the racing is any better. It's good seeing top notch riders but there isn't much else I would shout about.
  2. Which rider are we speaking about I'm lost haha
  3. There's even more the pick from if clubs are smart about it.
  4. Craig Cook Batch, Z Kennedy, Spencer, Simpson, C King, J Thomas, F Bowes, J, Smith, A Rowe, Ablitt, Clegg, Bickley, Stonemen, Neilsen, Sedgmen, J Wright, Pearson, Riss, Anderson are just a few Workington can go for. Slim pickings for heat leaders but I'm sure a few will fancy riding Workington. Could Wojdylo sign for a championship club?
  5. Poole built a team last year on always being strong at reserve and 2 n 4. This time round they've gone for complete fire power. For a 38 point limit to be having 4 heat leaders in some doing. They are going be destroying teams at home with that firepower. Yes weaker at reserve but many other teams have 2 point riders in the side. I've watched M Perry last year at Leicester, super smooth style and has a bright future. Don't expect him though to fly around the air fence just yet. He's only 16 and is coming off a bad crash, but what I will say is II rarely saw him fall off the bike. Always gets points and if he's a Poole fan even better. Curious to see who the last rider is
  6. I think it's a really dangerous side. It's not perfect but there's plenty of progression for this team to get better. Super strong at reserve and some steady Eddie's in the side that will score plenty of points. But do they have enough though to go to places like Poole and Glasgow in a play off semi final and win? Not so sure.
  7. This is looking like a cracking side. Experiencence and youth is the key here. Kemp seems to like working with Stewart dickson and I've watched him at leicester last year, he's getting better. Let's see who's next !
  8. Leicester have use of track 7 days a week so could easily fit them in you'd have thought.
  9. I agree, they were always behind everyone else in terms team building. I'm sure most riders are snapped up towards the end of the season and Birmingham couldn't do any of that tapping up. They are just left with the rest that are avaliable. Although I'm pretty sure Tolley would have pretty much contacted every grand prix rider.
  10. If that's the case then I fear for them. Not bad riders just the balance is all wrong
  11. To be honest the track man said last season there is no grip on the inside due to water gathering near the curb. Well done Mr cairns for sorting it
  12. Steve lawson working on leicesters track. Is this for the drainage or just trying to get the best surface possible?
  13. He looks a little like president Biden...
  14. Doesn't really narrow it down as pretty much all riders have a club in Poland. I hope they pull a couple of good riders out of nowhere but Sam E didn't sound that positive
  15. I respect the fact that he's keeping them alive but he's also killing them at the same time. He's miles behind in terms of building a good team. He will say soon as the team is announced how great it is and what not, but as always they will struggle. Fair play Tolley your putting in plenty of dough, but your spending that money in the completely wrong way.
  16. There decent not established ofcourse but better than a few of sides put together imo. They can improve on those averages
  17. Sad not to see Perry back as he's a classy rider. Although he will get a place somewhere else. He's too good not to. Probably Poole bound who knows. Joe Thompson will captain the side from what I'm hearing and rightly so. He's gonna need plenty of practice this year and he may as well do some extra laps at home to improve his prem form. No idea who the cubs will bring in but I expect Joe T, William Cairns to sign. Maybe Vinne Ford and Max James can be added to that as well. Could Spencer and Mickie Simpson return?
  18. I would have waited for Birmingham to finish there side but I predict it won't be strong enough anyways to make a big impression. These predictions are based on if every rider stays fit (un likely I know) 1. Sheffield - 9/10 side. Super strong top 3 at home and real hard chargers in Howarth and Pickering.. Good reserves with room improvement also. Can Chris Holder do the business away from home though? Not so sure. Still a great team though. 2. Ipswich - Best two riders in the league plus plenty of room for improvement with Ellis, Thompson, Jenkins and Rew. Great side and will annoy everyone in heats 13 and 15. 3. Leicester - Basically have 5 heat leaders at home. Fricke, Lawson, Masters, Douglas are track specialists. Abit like Oxford we have arguably the best 2 and 4 in the league. Weaker at reserve but Thompson will have plenty of practice in the NDL. Becker is the secret weapon here. Like wolves team last year which everyone rote off they still finished in the play offs. 4. Oxford - Set up like Leicesters but with a stronger number 6. Just lacks a little quality to support Majec. But it's super solid with smart signings like Bomber, Wright and Klindt. Like this side a lot. 5. Belle Vue - Could easily have put this side in third and will probably will regret it. Great heat leader trio but can't see Blodorn and Cook improving much on those averages. Home form is crucial for the aces. I'm torn on this side and il keep changing my mind. 6. Kings Lynn - Much better than last year, but still not enough. Great number 1 and will be strong at reserve all year. But there's too many inconsident riders in this side for me. Outside chance of the play offs but won't win enough away from home. 7. Birmingham - Unless Lingren signs they don't stand a chance. Based on previous seasons Tolley doesn't know how to build a good side. Flint, Brennan and Worrall are good riders but that's it really. God I hope they pull off a surprise signing but I doubt it.
  19. Great side but was always gonna be weaker than last year. Will be strong at home but weaker away. I'd still be happy with that side
  20. If that's the side then it's rock bottom again for brummies. If they had Lindgren then it would be much stronger
  21. Douglas was 4th in three averages at Monmore and his away average was far better. So he should score a lot better at leicester now it's super smooth..
  22. Finally someone said it. It's a better version of Wolves team last year which is spot on
  23. Haha but although he did say liked the track. Think he will get plenty of points at leicester.
  24. Becker even said in his interview its a technical track
  25. Steve Worrall is one of those riders that are under appreciated. Always a solid performer
