That podcast did make me realise how bad their team building is though. Yes they are on a smaller budget but they were still banging on about how they thought that team could challenge for the play offs. They need to hire someone like Peter Adams to build a reliable team. They need riders that people want to see at the club. I'd be on the phone now to bomber and make him captain. May as well take tarasenko along with him. I think Birmingham will play it safe but also have a reliable side next year. Here's a one that took 2 mins to think of Masters, Pickering, Harris, Tarasenko, Z Cook, Sedgmen, RS. Not a title winning team but at least at home it would be strong.

Just listened to the Birmingham speedway podcast. Pretty much confirms that Birmingham will be in the prem next year and riders are already approaching the club. 80 % likely Brimingham will run next year.

He even said he's spoken to Phil Morris and can make it financially work. He also said it excited him with sponsors and Birmingham being on the TV.

I think you will try keep kurtz as number 1 and probably keep Bewley. Got a feeling blodorn and lidsley will be the ones making the move somewhere else to keep the majority of the team together. 1. Kurtz 2. ? 3. Brennan 4. Wright 5. Bewley 6. ? 7. RS

Scunny will probably built there team around Douglas again. And that's the right call. It's a good side this year. Douglas, Mountain, lambert are ones I'd be phoning now.

Cracking meeting . Great advert for speedway. Think Belle Vue fans will be obviously gutted about the result and also them finishing top. Belle Vue will be a force again next year regardless of the league structure. Ipswich fans must be thinking God how good is this? Potential double on the cards . All hail Emil!
