I think you speak on behalf of everyone that evening. I remember everyone before the meeting saying ..... ' it will take him a few heats to get going on a tricky shaped track' then boom. Probably the most impressive rider I've ever seen at leicester.
For a return into the top flight I think its a good side. I do think it will take time to get going though. Remember Magic, Nikolai, Rohan are all new to this track. Its also bombers and Wright's first season at the club. You may see oxford start very slow but get better as this goes on. Abit like leicester last year.
With Douglas becker and Lawson to sign I think our main strengh is in heats 8 and 14..
You could have masters at 3 and Becker at 5 . Abit like last year with Morris at 5 and Bomber n Lawson at 3/4
Yeah disappointed with this one. Can kemp still be a rising star? If yes then opens up Mountain, Hume or even paul starke sign for us. Although I think it's Joe T
I watched him at leicester in the NL and would say he isn't ready for prem. BUT his development has been rapid so it could work for oxford. Put it this way, Ipswich picked Joe Thomson and I reckon Ashton is slightly ahead of him.
There's a reason why Simon Lambert and Kyle howarth are well thought so..it's not there ability so much, its the hard work, Good equipment, honesty and leadership. All them things go along way..
Basso is a good start. The fans need abit lf excitement and most importantly change.
Charles wright would be a smart signing..always gives his all and him with basso at 3 n 4 is a good engine room.
I feel like lynn n birmingham are going to go in similar directions with team building. Solid teams
