Just listened to that Birmingham speedway podcast with nigel tolley. Pretty much confirms that the only way Birmingham are running next year is by moving to the premiership. He even said he's spoken to Phil Morris and can make it financially work. He also said it excited him with sponsors and Birmingham being on the TV.

I just think it will be the same structure with one team moving up to prem. That's it

I think you will try keep kurtz as number 1 and probably keep Bewley. Got a feeling blodorn and lidsley will be the ones making the move somewhere else to keep the majority of the team together. 1. Kurtz 2. ? 3. Brennan 4. Wright 5. Bewley 6. ? 7. RS

Scunny will probably built there team around Douglas again. And that's the right call. It's a good side this year. Douglas, Mountain, lambert are ones I'd be phoning now.

Cracking meeting . Great advert for speedway. Think Belle Vue fans will be obviously gutted about the result and also them finishing top. I think I can speak on behalf of most speedway fans here in the UK and we would all love Emil at their club next season. He's been the best rider I've ever seen at leicester this season. Just an insane rider and an all round nice guy. I couldn't give a monkeys what average he's on, sign him up leicester!

That's correct my mistake. I stand with Mr Hemleys most weeks and I think even he gets confused with it all!

I don't really know how drug testing works in speedway but I would just follow how other sports do it. You could do random tests but pretty much most athletes get tested regularly before the events they are participating in. I personally think a test before a meeting should be mandatory. Unless they already do this ? Someone care to explain how it works in speedway?

Depends on your sources. All I will say is that the new potential owner was at the cubs meeting last Saturday..
