f-s-p, smillie, skitts61, robbiec45 and garf all deserve praise for being the only people to see both of their riders make the Final. In doing so, f-s-p picked-up the biggest score of the round....1500 pts. On the other side of the pits, the biggest losers were the Coventry Camera Crew ! ballinger lost 550 pts, and colleague Papa Bazarou threw away 530. Both have managed to just about stay in the race though. Unlike pirate paul, ZKZ Kitten and Ozyace...who all sadly blew the lot ! (they were 3 of my favourite players too ) Better luck next year guys and girl ! tomazpozrl, World number 6, must be disappointed that he didn't back fellow countryman Matej Zagar. He's now the lowest scorer amongst last year's Top 9.

So long as you have anti-virus software running on your pc, shirls, it's okay for you to lower the security settings for excel. Click on 'Tools', 'Macro', 'Security' and change it to medium, and you should be okay. I have mine set on low and it's not a problem. Still not working ? Let me know via pm or e-mail

Scott was fast asleep when Linda passed him Both rode well enough though, considering neither of them have had great starts to the season. As for Crump being hard on Nicki...nah, that was just hard racing, exactly how it should be. Track held up better than usual. Nice job.

I think the number of Nicki fans is grossly under-estimated, but many are ashamed to admit it As for the meeting...I have to say... ...didn't think much to the fireworks !

I think it was Papa Bazarou that named a quality pre-GP boozer from last year. With a not-so-busy beer garden. Think I'll have to get him to remind me what it was. Only problem with the Prince of Wales is it takes 20 minutes to get served... and SOME OF US buy a lot of drinks It's traditional to go there though, it would just be nice to add another, maybe better, one. We lost Sam's bar didn't we...anyone know if it's re-opened ? My advice, shielfield...go to enjoy it from start to finish. Don't expect, or even wish for any good racing. That way, your day out can only be enhanced by it when it comes. Ultimately, (unless some git spoils it for ya), the whole experience is exactly what you make it. So meet up with friends, make new ones, drink beer, sing songs, laugh, scream, drink more beer, make more noise, smile til your cheeks hurt, have a nightcap, then sleep ! Oh hang on...squeeze some speedway in there somewhere as well. Bring it on !!!

I'd be happy if Nicki or Scott won the title, don't care for anyone else. But it's most likely a two-horse race, and on that basis I hope and expect to see Jason Crump become 2006 World Champion. I definitely don't want to see the title wasted on a rider who's retiring, which is how I see it. On that point, don't forget it's essentially a Top 9 place that the middle order rider's will be looking for. As for the Hans Andersen 'exclusion'...I don't question Lee Richardson's place, far more Niels-Kristian Iversen's - that's a joker if ever I saw one.
