Moan about budget 1-7's that lose constantly which leads to an outcry for team changes. Moan when a 1-7 doesn't have an Out an Out No.1 due to a Club balancing the books. Moan when an expensive 1-7 gets put together in regards to the costs involved. Proof is in the pudding that moaners will moan regardless. British Speedway Owners can't win unless they're are signing riders like Bartosz Zmarzlik on £20 per point contracts.
-
It's not justified at all in this case but then again you're a very Anti-British Speedway member of this forum tbh. Put out a poor 1-7 from the start and the glory hunting fans won't turn up at all. Spend the money by putting out a good 1-7 and the glory hunters will bail out as soon as the going gets tough. That's on the fickle fans.
-
Fans turn up to watch their Club, Not the opposition. I'm all for constructive criticism when it comes to British Speedway because the higher ups make a number of mistakes (Too many) but sometimes the negativity on here isn't justified imo.
-
British Speedway is far from perfect, I agree 100% and it's nothing like it used to be. I could list a number of issues that I've got with it too however no fan should turn their back on their Club when results don't go their way though because it just makes them look like a glory hunter tbh. Have to take the rough with the smooth, The good times with the bad times as the saying's go which is what the owners are politely saying in statements by issuing rallying calls to fans when asking them to stick by their Club during a difficult period.
-
To be fair, The fan mentality was like that before inflation, COVID etc. Unfortunately Speedway fans don't have the mentality as Football fans for example who are also from a working class background. No matter the results, They'll be their every week supporting the Club through the good times and bad ones. British Speedway fans bail out when their Club hits a rough patch and then it forces the hand of Clubs to go public with statements.
-
If fans stuck by their Club through thick and thin instead of having a 'We're only turning up when we're winning mentality' then Clubs wouldn't need to put out statements. British Speedway is far from perfect and the highers up make a number of mistakes but I don't see a problem with Clubs politely calling out fans who bail out when the going gets tough results wise for their Club on track.

Which Clubs?
-
They don't crow, They just go public with the truth when fans give up on their team after losing a few meetings and fans always say that they want to know the truth. The Clubs put the money in before a wheel has been turned knowing that they're far more likely to make a loss than break even in order to put on the best product that British Speedway can offer in it's darkest of days. We've got Polish threads on here but other than me, Nobody dares to speak the truth about a number of similarites to British Speedway.
-
Leicester want to put on the best product that British Speedway can offer despite the financial costs involved, Respect to them. Also I don't see any criticism on this forum in regards to Polish Clubs and Ekstraliga Speedway where certain Owners run their Clubs financially into the ground and then rely on other people to financially bail them out.

That's what I think will happen tbh. Ipswich will be running 100% and the telling factor is Tom Brennan who hasn't signed elsewhere. Tom would've certainly been snapped up elsewhere if Ipswich didn't give him assurances of the club 100% coming to tapes this year.
-
Wouldn't worry about Scunny's side because it's going to get ripped up when Picko gets a proper GSA.
-
Also ties in with the Tai Woffinden SpeedwayStar article and rumour though. Question is when did Tai give that interview to the SpeedwayStar about not getting any offers from British Clubs and have Mayfield Sports contacted him after the interview?

2026 Premiership is Go! - At least 5 teams

Exactly what I said yesterday. £27 well spent because it got people talking. -

Not just on here, Fans are complaining on other social media platforms too. -
Had to re-sign Tate otherwise it was pointless in persisting with him last season. Should be better this time around to be fair.

Everyone's talking about it, So the higher ups have achieved exactly what they set out to do. £27 well spent. -

Question is, Would Northampton be able to afford a GP Superstar knowing how much they've got to spend just to come to tapes? Deep pockets is an understatement when it comes to Northampton. Pure guessing game in regards to how many fans will turn up so how much can you layout financially?

Lidsey confirmed that he's been released by Belle Vue and he would've been a 100% certainty for Belle Vue if Brady Kurtz was leaving.
-
It all makes too much sense when you really think about it. Probably Pete's one and only chance to get back into the top level of the Sport in the UK considering the PREM only has a few teams. Don't see a scenario where another opportunity would open up at PREM level when it comes to BV, KL, LEI and SHE.

Jacob Hook is the perfect fit GSA wise.
-
This team would win the League imo. 1. T. Woffinden 8.45 (Rumour) 2. J. Jeppesen 4.34 (Why hasn't he been signed yet on a bargain GSA?) 3. L. Becker 6.88 (Rumour) 4. T. Musielak 6.63 (Local mechanic, Chris and Pete Adams connections) 5. T. Brennan 7.05 (Nailed on) 6. J. Jenkins 3.46 (Sponsors) 7. J. Edwards (RS) (Already confirmed) = 36.81
-
Of course, Immediate reaction would be that Leicester would finish bottom because they've got no GP Riders or Out and Out No.1.
-
It does sound like the rumour has some legs to it then. Tai gets a questionable GP wildcard and Mayfield Sports rumoured to be the buyers of Ipswich, Helping each other out????? Ipswich need a new Team Manager and No.1, Pete Adams wants to return to the Sport and Ipswich is the only way back in for him unless a 6th Team is found, Pete is like a second father to Tai like you said. Luke Becker is the other rumoured rider and he hasn't been announced elsewhere either. It all makes sense tbh.

It's is, Just Sheffield haven't got Flint at reserve this time who turned out to be a trump card.
