Picko has just been confirmed as Sheffield's final signing so that adds fuel to the Wolves Trio Rumour.

The two names I heard were Woffinden and Becker but I know the latter is doing 3 Leagues but I'm not sure on the Polish rule for riders who don't ride in the Polish top tier. Like you said, At least we're getting some rumours now which is better than the deafening silence that we've been getting so that's a positive sign.

The rumour is Pete Adams and that he's bringing a couple of former Wolves riders with him to Ipswich. We shall see what happens over the next few weeks.

It's so frustrating but Chris Louis and Mayfield Sports are doing the right thing here. Just look at Sheffield as an example who jumped the gun only for the investor / investors to pull out leaving the Club in a race against time for some financial help.

I rate him. Just think it's beyond a tough ask for him to ride @ No.6 when he's not even got any CHAMP experience let alone PREM experience under his belt.

He's not granted but what I will say is that Douglas wasn't signed to be an out and out No.1. Stewart didn't want a long tail with Fricke at No.1, King's Lynn aren't gaining anything with a tail end of Paco, Rushen and Scott. Despite Leicester having no out and out No.1, The Lions should be very difficult to beat and score heat advantages against. Basically got..... 2 x Established PREM Heat Leaders (Douglas and Masters) 4 x Top end CHAMP Heat Leaders (D. Thompson, N. Morris, Howarth and Kemp?) I include Nick as he's on a false GSA imo. 1 x CHAMP 2nd String (Gilkes) who's one of the better RS's.

Basically is a No.1 in a weaker League then where the Team Limit has dropped by 3.00 points. More 1st Places than 2nd, 3rd and 4th's both at Home and Away in a stronger League where the Team Limit was set at 40.00.

I personally think KL fans are overrating their own side due to them going with the Young Stars duo at reserve. Granted the youngsters are ones for the future but they've basically got no experience riding at PREM level so asking them to out gate and out race experienced season pro's is more than a long shot imo. Difference between racing against NDL or CHAMP 2nd Strings to riding against riders who ride against top quality opposition week in and week out whether it's in DEN, POL or SWE.

I'm not sure tbh. If riders are allowed to do more than 3 Leagues then Becker would be one of the first riders on the Ipswich team sheet if I was picking the side.

Lidsey, Iversen, King, Klindt, Riss, Zagar, Wright and Tungate. Although I suspect one of the 6 GSA Riders will be at Ipswich as Becker is already doing 3 Leagues.

Kildemand's CHAMP GSA dropped riding as a No.5.

Lawson would be a quality signing in a watered down PREM. Consistently had GSA's ranging from 6.50-7.00 in the British Top Flight whether it's the old Elite League Days or the modern era PREM. Majority of the PREM in 2026 is basically CHAMP Heat Leader standard with a few Aussie GP Riders thrown in and we all know that Lawson and Masters are the two best riders in the CHAMP.

Plenty of good riders left due to the Points Limit.

I know he did, I'm basing it off the Woffinden SpeedwayGP profile. If he's in like they say then Picko will be available. I like your team, Rock solid but Ellis is already doing 3 Leagues hence why I haven't included him in my team.

I'm with you on that. Think Stewart has played a blinder here by sacrificing Fricke for an all round 1-7. Other Teams may have Superstar No.1's but they've also got very long tails to go with them, Who could be found wanting most weeks. Leicester on the other hand have a rock solid pairing across the board in every Heat.

I mentioned Tungate because every Team will have to have at least 1 Rider on a GSA between 5.00-5.99 in their side. Looking at PREM Riders from 2025 left on 5.00-5.99 GSA's, Tungate is a country mile ahead of the other options when it comes to ability. Palovaara, C. Cook and Kerr are the other 3 Riders left from 2025 on 5.00-5.99 GSA's.
