Who do we think the signed 5 are? Brennan, King, Jenkins, Edwards and ??????
-
Could Mayfield be involved in Northampton as well? Waiting to release a statement in regards to both Clubs hence why this joke of a winter has dragged on and on?
-
I don't blame any fan who decides to walk away after this fiasco tbh. I've tried to remain as positive as I could on the topic this winter but I can fully understand where the majority of fans are coming from.
-
Who knows anything at this point.
-
Should get something today surely considering it was signing on night yesterday.
-
Just like this poor sod, We all woke up expecting an end to the frustrating period in regards to a Sports Team but it never materalised.
-
He would struggle away, I agree. Problem is, It's looking like every Club will have to have a Rider on a low 5's GSA and other than Nicholls, The only riders left below 5.50 are Craig Cook and Lewis Kerr. Personally I'd like a tail end of Jeppesen, Jenkins and Edwards.
-
Think I was the first person to mention Scott Nicholls this winter. I think it would be a shrewd signing @ No.2. If Scott is in then I assume we've got a No.1 too.
-
Not what I want, Just what I think. I'm still saying -25% discount for Jenkins because I don't believe he'd be signed on a 4.49 when you can easily get a better rider in Jeppesen for 4.34. 1. T. Brennan 7.05 2. N. Klindt 6.46 3. T. Musielak 6.63 4. D. King 6.50 5. R. Lawson 6.82 6. J. Jenkins 3.46 7. J. Edwards (RS) TM Olly Allen

Eni Aluko being announced as the new Team Manager would sum this entire winter up.
-
The calm before the storm.
-
That's very true.
-
So do I tbh unless Tai Woffinden is @ No.1. Hence why I'm throwing out different Riders left from last season on 6.00-6.99 GSA's as 3 of them will likely be in the side if Brennan is @ No.1.
-
I agree, That's what you normally get with the vast majority of riders who are hovering around the 6.50 GSA mark.
-
Somebody who hasn't had a mention is Matej Zagar 6.46 If it's a strength in depth 1-7 then what's everyone's view on Matej?
-
I wouldn't be against that just as long as it's the right riders with scope to improve like the majority of Leicester's Team. But if we're piling up with King and Iversen for example then it goes against everything that a strength in depth side should be imo.
-
If it's too late for an Out and Out No.1, Would anyone else be happy with a Top 4 of Brennan, Lawson, Musielak and Klindt? That should make Ipswich tough to beat at Home imo.
-
I wasn't either but we did get a hint on here before the Polish article was even released.
-
I'm not a fan of Robert Lambert but I do respect his ability on a Speedway bike. I just don't think it'll be a good look if Ipswich don't have a No.1 and then Northampton announce Robert as their No.1. Northampton are just as far behind as Ipswich when it comes to team building.
-
When Mayfield announce the Team, It's going to be the most crucial Team announcement that they'll ever do imo because it will set the precedent for the new era.
-
New Era, New Club Captain -> Tom Brennan Stayed loyal to Ipswich during this incredibly frustrating winter, Got a good head on his shoulders who's well spoken. Tom could easily be a Witches rider for a good few years imo. That's what I would do anyway.
-
Very true.
-
Good post, You make a lot of good points to be fair.
-
Maybe a controversial topic..... What are fans views on Jason Doyle bailing out very early while Tom Brennan has stuck around especially if Ipswich run without a No.1 this season?
-
Klindt has a liking for the NSS, AFA and Leicester as well as having proven pedigree around Foxhall. That's a no brainer signing imo especially when only 3 Teams will reach the play-offs where everything will likely come down to Away Form and Bonus Points imo.
