  1. IPSWICH vs. BELLE VUE Nothing stands out to me, Ipswich riders are marked too high for my liking. KING'S LYNN vs. WOLVES Three bets for me in this one because I think the King's Lynn riders will be different gravy at Home. Bet 1 is NICOLAI KLINDT Over 8 @ 5/6........Bet 2 is JOSH PICKERING 0 vs. Ryan Douglas @ 1/1...........Bet 3 is MICHAEL PALM TOFT +1 vs. Scott Nicholls @ 10/11 LEICESTER vs. PETERBOROUGH Keeping it simple in this one.....LEICESTER -12 @ 8/11, Peterborough shouldn't be putting up 39+ against this Leicester side without a No.1. BET TO AVOID imo is NKI Under 13 @ 8/11....Looks great on paper but this is a trap bet imo because he's going to have 6 maybe even 7 rides tonight.
  2. No point praying for rain anymore because our season is over anyway. Leicester to win this one comfortably, Richie Worrall to top score for the Panthers but he won't receive much backup imo. Leicester by 16+
  3. Panthers fans including myself will still get an opportunity to watch Speedway without having to travel far so it's not like we're going to miss out entirely unless it's by choice. Ipswich, King's Lynn and Leicester are all close enough tracks that you can get to in 1-2 hours top whack by car even though our track is much more enjoyable, However it's still a track to visit and it's better than nothing and who knows over time some Panthers fans may end up supporting one of those clubs down the road, You've seen it with Swindon fans at Oxford as a recent example. Sad news yesterday but I think it's only the beginning of the end for the Sport in this country as a whole, Championship is already drastically weaker with the watered down fixture list and points limit due to clubs lacking financial resources, Wolves aren't in a healthy financial position anymore and they could very well be on the clock too as CVS has stated that he wouldn't run in a 6 team Premiership. I suppose the blow of yesterday's news isn't as impactful as it would've been under normal circumstances, The fighting amongst management during the winter, The dreadful 2022 campaign and a mess of a 2023 campaign has left many fans thinking F it anyway because all we've done for the last 18 months is lose our tempers and then sat back and watched our team lose at Home almost every week, We haven't even had a full Panthers 1-7 complete a meeting in god knows how long. I'm surprised we're making the effort to see out the season tbh, We may as well just give everyone a refund and call it quits now rather than running at a loss every week, I'll nip down to the final home meeting as well as the Ipswich meeting when Doyle and Emil are in town but that's it because I've lost all interest in our 2023 campaign as it's just a case of deja vu that's a waste of everyone's time, effort and money.
  4. Chris Holder liked the tweet as well lol.
  5. Buster and Tomalin for the entire off season.
  6. Agree and I wouldn't bother splashing out 3-5k a night on a replacement either if I was in Busters shoes knowing the clubs going under within a few months.
  7. Have to agree. I'll hold my hands up that I've been one of the most vocal when it comes to blaming Buster but it's clear as day now that Tomalin has made promises that he can't keep so he's got to take 50% of the blame as well, I'll hold my hands up and admit when I'm wrong rather than staying silent like a coward. All the new era talk and the rebranding to the purple colours with no guaranteed future after 6 Months is purely on Tomalin because the colour scheme ties in with his car company and that's some Comedy Central / UKTV Gold rubbish to me.
  8. Fair to say that everyone has to take the blame for this winter, Management haven't been on the same page, Awful decisions have been taken whether it's branding, rider signings etc. Buster hasn't covered himself in glory by thwarting Tomalin's side, Tomalin hasn't covered himself in glory by making promises and statements that he can't keep or back up. It's just one big mess at the end of the day and it's a shame that we're going out on a negative note rather than a positive one like Swindon did a few years back.
  9. Wolves are struggling financially aren't they? Wouldn't be surprised if they decide to follow us because CVS did say in the winter that Wolves wouldn't have run this year if it was a six team Premiership.
  10. Fair points tbh. Michael does seem to be a lot quieter now than he was at the start of the season as mentioned by Smiler.
  11. The thing that makes me laugh and I've given Tomalin a huge pass this winter is all of the new era talk and the rebranding to the purple colours knowing we've only got 6 months left. May as well have stuck with the traditional colours.
  12. Nicki was complaining about the track pre-meeting which makes me think he was having second thoughts before the Grudziadz management weighed in.
  13. Agree. Limited guest available due to the Monday/Thursday race night situation as well which is why we should pull out of the league altogether imo, No point in everyone chucking money down the drain now when the club doesn't have a future after this season.
  14. Will do. The higher ups will give us special permission to do a Plymouth, Already given us R/R out of sympathy and the rulebook doesn't mean anything to any club lol.
  15. I agree, I'll cut Buster some slack and actually defend him on this one. Nicki should never have agreed to ride in the first place if he knew that his body couldn't handle British tracks anymore.
  16. Well at least the promotion have been open and honest for the first time in ages with that club statement in regards to the future. Not being ungrateful, I'm just being logical here. We may as well just chuck the towel in now tbh rather than continuing this season because it's not worth it when we're having to rely on a Guest or R/R at No.1, Everyone is just going to lose a lot of money and the fans will soon walk away in numbers due to the cost of living crisis.
  17. Same thought's here, No point in having a club at all if this is how it's going to be run.
  18. Credit to all fellow Panthers fans on here by the way because no other fanbase would put up with things we've all had to put up with for the last 18 months. It's a miracle if we actually complete a Speedway meeting with an actual full time Panthers 1-7 at this rate. Our 2022 season consisted of 6 man teams, R/R's, Guests and towels being chucked in before the meetings even took place. 2023 is already a case of deja vu and we're only in April, R/R, 6 man team and the Towel being chucked in before Thursday's meeting has even started.
  19. Agree, I'm just relieved that I didn't buy a season ticket in the end. Our job is to pay our money, Keep our mouths shut and wait to be told something by the club that we already know in advance.
  20. Forced into sticking with him is more appropriate lol. Brady even said he was going back to the drawing board after the Sheffield meeting in regards to KK.
  21. KL have just released their matchday preview too, What a clown show. What a f'ing mess.
  22. Hopefully it pishes down from 3.00pm onwards leading to the meeting being postponed.
