In other news Carl Johnson has just outed Buster Chapman on facebook. What great support the savepeterboroughspeedway has, and that proved that yesterday at our rally. Huge support for the survival of the club and a massive thank you to everyone that turned out in not the best conditions but I’m glad that didn’t stop you. A little disappointed that we’ve had no backing whatsoever from the official Peterborough Panthers Speedway, but it looks like we fight on alone for now.

I'll cheer on Ipswich too (Not as a Witches supporter but as a neutral fan) I'll nip down to Foxhall a few times to see some live Speedway next season. I was going to cheer on everyone but King's Lynn in 2024 but I hope Ipswich go one better purely due to the fact that Richie Hawkins has supported us during the toughest time our club will ever face.
-
Good to see Richie Hawkins at the protest today, He's shown more support to Peterborough Speedway during these tough times than Buster Chapman which says it all really. I'll repay the compliment by cheering on his Witches next season whilst we sit the season out and hopefully others will too instead of heading down to the AFA to line Busters pockets after he signs multiple 2023 Panthers riders in an attempt to lure you in.

Off topic but thanks go out to Richie Hawkins for turning up to the Save Peterborough Speedway protest today. Hopefully Panthers fans will repay the compliment by cheering on Hawkins' Witches next season. -
Wooden spoon for sure, No idea where Brum are going to get top end power from but expect these three to be in. S. Worrall Schlein Barker

I agree. I just don't see who else fits at No.6 which is why I've put him in, Would've put Barker in until I read PTA's post about him heading to Brum. -

Picks itself, Just the one change with Riss making way for Ellis or Brennan imo. Emil Rew King Ellis or Brennan Doyle Hume D. Thompson -
Not financially viable no matter how much promoters / owners tell themselves. Wish you luck but it's got disaster written all over this because fans won't be able to afford to attend all of these meetings across 3 different divisions.

AGM extended until Sunday. Promoters have gone down with hangovers from drinking too many sangria's therefore nothing can be fully signed off until they've made a full recovery.

King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions
TTT replied to SuperStarsFan91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
True. -
We was never going to run in 2024 because you have to declare your intentions at the AGM and that was impossible considering the short amount of time we had to get everything done by (AEPG were never going to go quietly) Michael Tomalin said a while back on facebook that we may have to take a step back in order to take two steps forward so this isn't a shock to the system. Keep the faith because AEPG are just using an intimidation / bully boy tactic in order to try and make people blink by thinking the game is up, If people give up hope then it means they'll give up the fight and by giving up the fight it means the pressure would be eased on AEPG who are already on the backfoot with Planning rejections, objections etc. The consortium are Peterborough Speedway through and through so we know that we've got a team who'll give it their all for us and that's all we can ask for. Us fans just need to back them every step of the way.

King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions

Start with the former, End with the latter if KL are in contention for the play-offs lol. -
I'd worry for Oxford's future after 2024 if they run in the Prem and Champ, It's got disaster written all over it. Fans simply won't have the money to pay out for all of these fixtures during times like this where inflation is through the roof.

King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions
TTT replied to SuperStarsFan91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Tobi NKI Basso Tarasenko Rowe (RS) 12.48 left for two Charles Wright + Another Up to 6.33 (Rory Schlein 5.89????? maybe) If he's not at Ipswich then Danny King + Another Up to 5.43 (Just enough left for MPT or Jorgensen) -
Dougie it is then. Leaves them at 40.63 after reductions.

King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions

Rode for Brum the last time they were in the top league so it wouldn't be a new challenge. If it's true about Oxford running in the Prem then I think that's where Bomber ends up. -
Still sticking with my original 1-7 prediction of Fricke, Douglas, Masters, Lawson, Kerr, Riss & RS. 3 Returnees -> Fricke, Lawson and Kerr 3 Former Lions -> Masters, Douglas and Riss 1 Debutant -> RS (Possibly Leon Flint?????)

Replace Bomber with Charles Wright and I think you'll be spot on. Buster signs the leftovers and Charles Wright isn't at BV.........Ipswich, Leicester and Sheffield can't fit him in going by rumoured line-ups. So it's a 50/50 chance that he's either at KL or the club that comes up from the Championship imo. -
Wolves last meeting at Monmore 23rd October

So sad to see. -
Always getting it. The guy is as smug as they come, He encouraged everyone to chuck the towel in instead of putting up a fight to save the club.
-
It's really alarming then if Buster is assisting the bad guys, He should walk away now and let the consortium have full control and they'll at least fight and show some balls in trying to save the club. If AEPG told Buster to go and demolish the stand first thing on Monday morning then he would do it without hesitation, Which begs the question where does this end? Buster is a lackey for AEPG and he'll do anything they tell him to do now just to save himself from potentially having to pay for the destruction of the club's home. It's the equivalent of hiring someone to do you dirty work for you and it just sends out a clear message that Buster would rather see our club die instead of keeping the club alive out of his own pocket, Therefore he's not willing to fight for the club unlike consortium, council and fans.
-
Like Richie Worrall said mate, It's just going to be one big p*ss up in Spain, Not a fan of Richie but his statement was truthful and everyone knows the higher ups couldn't run a bath. Not one of them will stand up to the man child (Buster) because he'll just spit his dummy out and threaten to pull KL out of the league that will lead to other higher ups folding like a pack of cards knowing they can't afford another Prem club to drop out because they're begging for a Championship club to move up just to save the TV deal.
-
Keep the belief no matter how disheartening the pictures are, AEPG and Buster want you to fell like it's the end. The latter just wants to reel in the gullible Panthers by encouraging them to prop up the attendances at KL with a cunning plan to sign all the Peterborough riders that other Premiership clubs don't want, Been the plan for months and you don't need to be an ITK to figure that out, Buster was never our ally so him helping out AEPG isn't a shock to those who saw right through him. AEPG are just another group of selfish w**kers like we've seen on numerous occasions in our sport who try and take away something from an entire community for their own personal gain and nobody else's, We've seen it at numerous clubs, Some of them get their clubs back and that's why we must keep believing instead of throwing in the towel. Follow the Save Peterborough Speedway page on social media platforms for all the latest updates from Mick Bratley and all of the other good people who are trying everything they can to save the club, They're the ones we need to listen too and follow their lead like attending the upcoming protest.
