  1. I’m not disappointed in Richie’s signing tbh. He’s pretty solid everywhere apart from the NSS so if he can get dialled in at the Showground then he should maintain his average. It’s the return of Hans that will be the issue because he can’t ride big tracks anymore The surprise HL needs to be a beast who rarely drops a point to compensate for the lack of second string power though
  2. Hans will be announced at some point this week imo, You wouldn't travel to Peterborough just to deliver a parcel to somebody so you've got to assume Hans was over here to sign his contract for 2023.
  3. Buster would've been mudded this winter if it wasn't for Tomalin's sponsorship and funding. If Buster wasn't using a large sum of Tomalin's money then he's got every right to put his below par / mates rates 1-7 together. Tomalin really should've applied the pressure on Buster, If I was in Michael's position then I would've given Buster a 24 hour ultimatum and that's let me spend my money on the rider that I want (Chris Holder) otherwise I'll withdraw all of my resources from the club.
  4. Tungate's average is lower than Basso's as well so he's got to ride at 3 either way. We really do need Tungate though. Andersen & Worrall combo doesn't give us any strength at second string.
  5. Carl Johnson did say multiple announcements this week but yes I wouldn't be shock if it didn't happen considering how this winter has gone.
  6. Tomalin's money therefore Tomalin should have the final say on matters. Busters basically telling Tomalin what he can spend his own money on and that's wrong tbh, If the team is way below Tomalin's standards then I won't be putting any of the blame on Michael and neither should anyone else because it's easy to point fingers at the newbie. Chris Holder would've been at Peterborough 100% if Tomalin owned the club. Pressure is all on Buster to deliver a big hitter considering he's the sole reason for the Holder situation, Buster has only taken his own personal feelings into consideration rather than his colleagues feelings as well as the fans feelings. Replacing Chris Holder with a rider like Craig Cook isn't going to wash, Needs to be an adequate replacement who can score big as a HL. Big end of the week coming up and I'll stick my neck out and say that everything will be alright in the end. Final 3 prediction (Pedersen, Worrall & Andersen) want Tungate but I can see Buster calling the final shot again by remaining loyal to one of his 2022 KL Stars riders.
  7. The calm before the storm. Speedway Star Day tomorrow where we should get plenty of news.
  8. A top 4 of Nicki, NKI, Basso & Tungate with Ben Cook at reserve will see us challenging for honours imo. We just wouldn't lose at Home with that top 4 and we'd rack up the Bonus Points too considering the margins we'd win by at Home.
  9. If Chris Holder has gone with Nicki P coming in as expected then we'll be better off tbh. Nicki P will be committed 24/7 because he doesn't like losing in any race.
  10. Is it just a coincidence how things are speeding up at Ipswich just as things are starting to speed up at Peterborough. On target to update fans in a weeks time, Panthers are making multiple announcements later this week according to Carl Johnson.
  11. Look on the bright side. At least you'll get Holder @ 5 after Buster's rumoured tantrum.
  12. They needed the FIM to backtrack and bail them out because Poland aren't letting them ride anywhere else.
  13. Emil deal is off. Speedway: The FIM saw what the IOC was doing and made a decision about the Russians - Przegląd Sportowy (przegladsportowy-onet-pl.translate.goog)
  14. 100% not Freddie imo considering he couldn't fulfill his Polish fixtures last season due to his long covid issues. It will be Nicki P imo, If Nicki isn't in the side then it means we've turned him down because Nicki wants to ride for 3.5k, Price that must be met by the club if we don't have an alternative option on the table.
  15. Freddie's long covid issues even forced him to take a break from his Polish racing last season so it's safe to say that he won't be doing a full UK season again imo. Doesn't race in Sweden anymore either now.
  16. That's the risk we have to take in order to get a No.1 / HL in. Buster not starting a clean slate with Holder basically leaves us in a big money gamble situation that we have to take due to nobody else being available (Not that we know of anyway)
  17. I'm going with the following three. Nicki P (Literally no excuse not to meet his demands if Holder does get shown the exit door as expected) R. Worrall (Hopefully someone has managed to step up for Tungate though) Andersen Holder and Hume to complete the Witches 1-7 imo.
  18. Andersen basically confirmed. Be patient Peterborough Panthers fans, new riders are on the way! | Peterborough Telegraph (peterboroughtoday.co.uk) Johnson insists all is progressing behind the scenes and they are working towards finalising matters for what should be a new-look line-up with at least four new faces compared to last year.
  19. Don’t know how anyone else feels but imo if we had a Superstar like Nicki P then surely you’d announce him in a separate PR? All three in one go could mean that the final three aren’t anything to get excited about.
  20. I can see a scenario that leads to it tbh. 1. Buster blocks a move for Holder 2. Nobody agrees to spanner for Tungate 3. Deal unable to be done with Nicki P Those three points would force us into going with Worrall and Andersen for starters, Then would it be too late to get a deal done with an EU rider when they've already locked in 2023 plans? Would potentially be forced into the British based market and the best two who are still available would be Batchelor (Buster issues) or Craig Cook.
  21. If Tomalin is picking the riders then Chris Holder will be in the side because that's what Tomalin wants, But if Chris doesn't feature in our 1-7 then it tells us that Buster is still having the final say on matters and that he's put a stop to any deal for Holder due to the 2017 situation. The Holder situation will give us all the answers we need to know as to who's in charge and who's calling the shots behind the scenes.
  22. Not his fault though, Michael will be exempt from any blame in my book if our 1-7 isn't competitive.
