Proving they're problematic for team spirit already imo.
-
It's Pedersen and Andersen for sure. Andersen was over here recently down Peterborough way, 100% to sign a contract because you wouldn't be over here just to deliver a parcel to somebody. Nicki P has been strongly linked and he's agreed to ride for a price, We've obviously met that price imo.
-
I'll happily pay good money to see Nicki P being a sh1thouse every week
-
The new race suits look brilliant.
-
Could easily turn out to be the meeting of the season with the talent on show. Ben Cook vs. Keynan Rew too in a battle of young Aussie's.
-
Always goes very well around our place, He'll put a point on his average if he stays fit imo.
-
I think fans of every club should be happy tbh. Our league hasn't been held in high regard around Europe for a while now, Getting as many big names back as possible will only help British Speedway re-build it's image. Attendances will improve, More people will buy streaming passes, Better product for the fans, More sponsorship chances should open up as well. About time we took our rightful place on the Speedway ladder again by being referred too as the second best league in the world.
-
No budget left for another expensive EU rider if we're getting Nicki P at 3.5k a night.
-
Only Hans Andersen or Craig Cook considering Troy Batchelor falls into the Chris Holder bracket when it comes to Buster. Hans can't ride big tracks anymore but he's popular with the fans. Cookie scoring all depends on what side of the bed he wakes up on.

Every sport will backtrack on the banning of Russian athletes eventually, Just a case of when and not if it happens imo. Can't ban Russian sportsmen for the next 5 years just because of Politics.
-
Enough for Andersen.

Leicester lions 2023 (PREMIERSHIP)
TTT replied to PhilTheAce's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Always goes well in Australia. -
Prefer Nicki. I'm not convinced that Lindgren would be able to fulfill a full British calendar considering his long covid issues, I could see a scenario where he would quit British racing halfway into the season if the long covid starts causing him bother.
-
GP riders confirmed (Bewley, Doyle, Fricke & J. Holder) Potential returning riders to Britain (Emil Sayfutdinov + Nicki Pedersen or Freddie Lindgren) Masters really isn't on their level.
-
Like I said hours ago Masters average is highly inflated due to his performances around Monmore. The stats don't lie, Look at the significant drop off away from Monmore.
-
Flint is the strongest RS in the league imo. Masters is good around Monmore but I think he's poor on the big tracks hence why I think he'll struggle especially if Ipswich & Pboro manage to get the top end riders they want.
-
Did ride 15 meetings at reserve though, Easy for riders to fill their boots against NL reserves and 3.00/3.50 journey men imo.
-
Masters has an inflated average due to how well he goes around Monmore imo.
-
No second announcement this morning, We was supposed to get multiple announcements this week so maybe things have changed again (Andersen)
-
I think Masters will be the weakest No.1 in the league and he could struggle if all of the rumoured Elite riders return to Britain. How long will Schlein take to settle back in is a question mark imo. Zach Cook as the senior reserve could struggle considering his Championship average is still under 5.00 after a couple of years.
-
Think we'll find out in the morning, Carl did say multiple announcements and we've only had one so far. We've announced a few signings on a Saturday this winter as well.
-
Who would be considered a major signing on a 7.78 or lower if we've managed to get Tungate after all.
-
Only got released due to the numbers game as KL needed a HL. Picko was a lock for one of the second string berths and TJ only got the other spot out of loyalty. TJ is KL's version of the Hans Andersen / Panthers situation where the rider gets a gig at the club every season no matter how he performs on track.
-
Keep the faith in Richie Worrall, Leicester stepping up this season too and that's another technical place he goes very well at. Richie's scores at Sheffield last season were the following which proves he can score points on a big track away from Home against a very solid side too. 6+1 @ No.3 7+2 @ No.4 9+1 @ No.3

Suppose we've got to wait another 24 hours to confirm Hans Andersen?
