Brennan will haunt BV next season.
Makes no sense to get rid of him. He would actually hold his own in the 1-5. Young Brit who's only going to improve year on year.
I really wouldn't be shocked if this was our 1-7 if the ink hasn't dried on Ben Cook's signature.
1. Niels-Kristian Iversen 7.59
2. Tom Brennan 5.71
3. Benjamin Basso 6.81
4. Rohan Tungate 6.61
5. Chris Holder 7.16
6. Hans Andersen 4.93
7. Jordan Jenkins (RS)
= 38.81
If we get another big hitter at 3 then I'm with you on that.
Brennan would be a good signing for the No.2 position and he's only going to get better. Terrible move by Mark Lemon to release him imo.
Chris Louis would have to boot King out of the door for him to leave Ipswich. King basically said he wants to spend his entire career at Ipswich the other day.
I'd gladly take him though as I think he'd be a reliable consistent performer in the engine room around Peterborough. Much like Steve Worrall around Wolves or Adam Ellis around Sheffield.
Tbf barely any modern-day rider can stand Monmore Green which is why CVS has no choice but to sign the same old faces every year considering nobody else wants to ride the place every week.
As long as Tungate does what he does around Peterborough then everything's cushty as Del Boy would say.
Hopefully no Schlein or Andersen in the team either.
No disrespect to the three riders because they've all been great for British Speedway and two of them will forever be club legends at Peterborough but we desperately need new blood in the side like @Flappy has been saying.
Correct. I didn't know he was going to D/UP but now I do.
Keynan doesn't fit anywhere else other than Ipswich / Peterborough in the latest draft sheet. At Peterborough we'll be looking for engine room riders on 6+ averages if the rumoured 4 have signed so by the process of Elimination he's only a fit for Ipswich.
