MPT is more than capable of winning the big Heats around Lynn. He's underrated imo. Picko & Jakobsen are two big average improvers. KK won't be as bad as the majority think imo. He'll have a couple of his cba nights along the way but I think he'll do well enough in the end. I don't know how Ipswich & Leicester are going to finish off team building yet but I think the rumoured KL team is much better than Wolverhampton's 1-7.
-
Would be title favourites imo. 6 average improvers in that side.
-
NKI was doing 4 leagues at one stage. Only reason why he got pulled from starting KL meetings after a while was because Lodz started to lose meetings in the run-up to the play-offs.
-
Patryk Dudek is an easy deal to do if you offer him the money he wants because Patryk wants to ride in the UK for the right price and he doesn't have a club outside of Poland yet so there wouldn't be any obstacles in the way when it comes to the league ruling situation. Only question is whether we've got the funds left in the budget considering Chris Holder would be expensive and I think we've overpaid for Ben Basso for him to make a U-Turn within a week.
-
Assuming you mean Andersen at 2 is nailed on?
-
Me neither. I've got massive respect for Hans but I thought he struggled in the 1-5 during our title triumph season as well as last season tbh. The spell at reserve made his average jump up drastically imo.
-
I forgot about Flagrag mentioning Dan Thompson a couple of weeks ago. I think Jack Thomas is a lock for Poole now because Oxford would've snapped him up on a bargain average imo and they're paying good money to riders going by the comments of Redcar's promotion when they revealed their 1-7 last week so Jack must be joining a powerhouse team imo and he's not been linked with Glasgow at all. 1. Steve Worrall 8.05 2. Zach Cook 4.92 3. Ben Cook 6.09 4. Dan Thompson 5.09 5. Richard Lawson 7.96 6. Jack Thomas 4.77 7. 3.12 (Jack Smith or Kyle Bickley fit)

Joe is at Scunny.

After looking at the team line-ups for the foreign leagues I think we'll be going with NKI @ 1 with Noddy @ 5 due to a lack of options available for another big hitter imo. Rasmus Jensen has signed contracts in 3 countries already and Kenneth Bjerre has said no to British racing apparently. Tungate (Available if he's not at Ipswich) + 6.83 in the engine room is the most likely option imo. I still think Batch is at Ipswich because it doesn't make sense for Louis to get rid of him imo considering how effective his partnership with Doyle is.
-
Bjerre would've been my choice too but he's not doing UK apparently. That's the only reason why I didn't put his 7.75 average on the list of options.
-
1. Steve Worrall 8.05 2. Jack Thomas 4.77 3. Ben Cook 6.09 4. Zach Cook 4.92 5. Richard Lawson 7.96 6. Alfie Bowtell 4.28 7. 3.93 or 1. Steve Worrall 8.05 2. Zach Cook 4.92 3. Ben Cook 6.09 4. Dillon Ruml 5.47 or Drew Kemp 5.19 5. Richard Lawson 7.96 6. Jack Thomas 4.77 7. 2.74 or 3.02

Don't teams get to protect the rider they had from the previous season?
-
We're almost in total agreement. I've got two possible teams written down for Ipswich. Team 1 - Doyle, Batch, R. Worrall, Riss, King, Rew & J. Thomas Team 2 - Doyle, Rew, King, Riss, Zagar, Hume & J. Thomas
-
How far off am I? 1. Steve Worrall 8.05 2. Zach Cook 4.92 3. Ben Cook 6.09 4. Keynan Rew 5.00 5. Richard Lawson 7.96 6. Jack Thomas 4.77 (Must be at a powerhouse club considering he's not at Oxford who pay good money) 7. 3.21 (Kyle Bickley or Jack Smith)
-
Zagar 7.20
-
Never in doubt. Danny will be at Ipswich until he retires imo.
-
Personally I think CVS struggles to bring new riders to the club. Monmore is a very tricky circuit that most modern day riders aren't too keen on riding twice a year let alone a whole season and I think that's the reason why Wolves go with the same old faces year in year out. Even a few years back the formula was the same when you could easily pencil in riders like Thorssell every year for example.
-
I'll go for a wildcard pick and say Richie Worrall. It's probably going to be a returnee like King or Riss though.
-
Does anyone else think the takeover announcement and the full 1-7 will be announced at the quiz night next Friday?
-
One of these will be our team imo. Team 1 - Niels-Kristian Iversen, Rohan Tungate, (6.83), Benjamin Basso, Chris Holder, Ben Cook and Jordan Jenkins (RS) Team 2 - (7.87), Troy Batchelor, Chris Holder, Benjamin Basso, Niels-Kristian Iversen, Ben Cook and Jordan Jenkins (RS) Team 3 - (8.51), Hans Andersen, Chris Holder, Benjamin Basso, Niels-Kristian Iversen, Ben Cook and Jordan Jenkins (RS) Riders that could fill the gaps. Team 1 (Krzysztof Buczkowski, Przemyslaw Pawlicki, Timo Lahti etc.) Team 2 (Rasmus Jensen 7.86, Josh Grajczonek 7.29, Matej Zagar 7.20 or Peter Kildemand 7.10) Team 3 (Anders Thomsen 8.00, Patryk Dudek 8.00 or Rasmus Jensen 7.86)
-
Seems like we've got three options then with the following 5 being locks (NKI, Holder, Basso, Ben Cook & JJ) Option A (No.1 + Hans Andersen) Option B (High 7's + Troy Batchelor) Option C (Rohan Tungate + Someone on a 6 something)
-
Could be at Leicester with Dickson in charge imo. They need someone in the high 4's to low 5's for the No.2 spot if Mountain is the No.6
-
That's him out then lol.
-
Fantastic side being put together by the Glasgow management. They really mean business next year.
-
Fingers crossed. I know he's not everyone's cup of tea but horses for courses The numbers he puts up around Peterborough just makes it a no brainer to at least try and sign him imo.
