  1. One Big League isn't possible in 2026 without causing havoc due to those that run our Sport when jumping the gun by setting CHAMP Rules for 2026 at last year's AGM. Just for example, Let's say the following. Masters has signed 2 Contracts, 1 with Leicester and the other with Oxford. Harris has signed 2 Contracts, 1 with King's Lynn and the other with Glasgow. D. Thompson has signed 2 Contracts, 1 with Leicester and 1 with Edinburgh. King has signed 2 Contracts, 1 with Ipswich and 1 with Plymouth The infighting will then begin as both the PREM & CHAMP Team will be adamant about not losing their Rider as they already have signed and valid contracts for 2026. The signed Riders will then demand much more money to cover the loss of income when it comes to a PREM place and bidding wars will then commence. Once the bidding wars are over, Said Riders will then have to be in breach of contract when breaking off the contract with one of their Clubs to ride for their other Club that offered the most money. This will then leave Clubs who've lost key Riders causing a major issue as they won't be able to replace them and their entire planing for 2026 would be thrown out of the window. How many Clubs will refuse to run then knowing they've got a 0% chance of putting out a Team that is anywhere close to a satisfactory standard? That is the key reason as to why the PREM has to exist for 1 More Year and then One Big League can start from 2027. Current PREM Teams aren't happy to go with a 5 Team PREM so another Team has to be found as it's the only solution. If it's not possible for example let's say Coventry, Northampton, Peterborough, Wolverhampton etc. to become that 6th PREM Team then the only other option is to get a CHAMP Team to fill that void for 1 Year. Also Danny Ford has stated that Poole have 6 Riders for 2026, Rob Godfrey has said he's got all 7 Riders for 2026 and Redcar have confirmed that they're announcing the full 1-7 at the yearly Christmas event and that's just what we know of as well as a few confirmed signings. Higher Ups Voiding CHAMP Contracts across the board and throwing Clubs entire 2026 Plans out of the window is also going to cause a lot of infighting that'll see a lot of backlash across the board so that is also NOT an option that can be explored.
  2. That would be the saviour option that pleases all parties. What's the whisper as nothing has done the rounds on here other than Northampton running at Oxford?
  3. I just don't see any other option at this moment in time. If a CHAMP Team doesn't step up then we could see multiple PREM Teams not running at all in 2026 and the Sport can't have a that. Ultimatum to Glasgow -> PREM Speedway for 1 Year with Financial guarantees of any losses being covered whilst allowing them to compete in a Cross Border Trophy Tourny with Berwick and Edinburgh. Glasgow can put together a 1-7 within CHAMP rules for the Cross Border Trophy Tourny meetings. After 2026 sack the PREM off altogether and do One Big League in 2027 with 5 Man Teams.
  4. What is the alternative on the table? A -> Multiple PREM Teams not running at all in 2026 due to a 5 Team PREM that leaves certain Promoters cheesed off. B -> Loads of CHAMP Teams get cheesed off with a full U-Turn in League structure for 2026 after already signing multiple riders or a full 1-7 within a 40.00 Limit for CHAMP Speedway. C -> Pray that Northampton running at Oxford with no fan base becomes an option again.
  5. They'll just have to take it on the chin if they want a PREM League featuring more than 5 Teams. Somebody will have to be left unhappy and the blame lies with years of failure from those that have run our Sport.
  6. They'll just kick up a fuss and another storm will hit the fan. PREM Clubs won't run a Team full of no names due to CHAMP clubs already signing up the Heat Leaders.
  7. Let them keep matches against Berwick and Edinburgh on the side. Do a 3 Team Tournament between them, Ride against each other H & A Twice and whoever finishes Top wins the Cross Boarder Trophy. If Glasgow lose money by riding PREM then PREM clubs will have to chip in and cover the costs.
  8. Keep saying it despite nobody agreeing, Glasgow in the PREM is the only option. If it's one big League then I wonder what will happen to CHAMP clubs already announced signings? Ipswich and Sheffield will surely want King and Pickering back as they'll lose Emil, Doyle, Brennan and both Holder's.
  9. When we're left guessing as to whether the AGM is even taking place this week, It basically says it all.
  10. Could go....Doesn't look great but lots of improvement in this Team imo from Zischke, Gusts and Grahn. 1. N. Klindt 8.36 or P. Kildemand 8.05 2. J. Etheridge 5.45 3. J. Hook 5.57 4. F. Gusts 5.49 5. T. Zischke 5.76 6. J. Grahn 5.30 7. V. Foord 3.68
  11. Does Francis Gusts still ride in Poland? He'd be a top signing on the wide open Workington circuit.
  12. I agree. I'm just building a team featuring riders who've been rumoured to have signed Etheridge, Hook, Zischke and Foord.
  13. 1. N. Klindt 8.36 or P. Kildemand 8.05 2. J. Etheridge 5.45 3. T. Zischke 5.76 4. J. Hook 5.57 5. T. Batchelor 7.10 6. 4.00 Newcomer 7. V. Foord 3.68

  17. Basically no chance of Drew being at Berwick then, That Daugavpils trip is one hell of a journey. Should be a shoe in at Oxford I'd imagine, Glasgow riding on a Friday Night should rule them out as Polish fixtures also take place on Friday's as well now.
  18. No Riss so........ 1. S. Masters 10.09 2. C. Heeps 4.93 3. M. McDiarmid 5.18 4. L. Killeen 5.15 5. D. Kemp 7.88 6. D. Gilkes 4.59 7. S. Summers 2.00 = 39.82

  20. 1. J. Pickering 11.64 2. L. Harrison 4.97 or D. Kennedy 4.63 3. C. Mountain 5.96 4. Z. Kennedy 5.24 5. M. Palm Toft 6.10 6. 4.00 Newcomer 7. R. Ingram 2.00 = 39.91 or 39.57
  21. I'm not far out imo. 1. J. Jeppesen 8.20 2. D. Hume 4.97 3. N. Morris 6.86 4. L. Harrison 4.97 5. D. Kemp 7.88 6. S. Lambert 4.48 7. D. Wood 2.24 = 39.60 Team B 1. P. Kildemand 8.05 2. D. Hume 4.97 3. N. Morris 6.86 4. J. Etheridge 5.45 5. D. Kemp 7.88 6. S. Lambert 4.48 7. D. Wood 2.24 = 39.93
  22. 1. J. Jeppesen 8.20 or P. Kildemand 8.05 2. B. Borke 4.57 3. N. Morris 6.86 4. D. Hume 4.97 5. D. Kemp 7.88 6. S. Lambert 4.48 7. J. Smith 2.61 or D. Wood 2.24
  23. Zischke @ No.5? 1. N. Klindt 8.36 or P. Kildemand 8.05 2. J. Etheridge 5.45 3. 5.88 or 6.19 4. J. Hook 5.57 5. T. Zischke 5.76 6. J. Grahn 5.30 7. V. Foord 3.68
  24. If Rowe isn't returning, Then this is the list of replacements that fit within the criteria. PREM GSA Under 5.34 -> Blodorn (Ekstraliga) CHAMP Riders on GSA's between 6.00 - 7.99 after 2.5% Reduction who rode in the 2025 CHAMP Season. Howarth, Kemp, Nagel, Palovaara, Sedgmen, Z. Cook, Flint, Riss, Batchelor, Catagna, S. Worrall, Vuolas, N. Morris, Edwards, Allen, Barker, Jenkins, Mountain and Palm Toft Then you break down that list by removing all of the Riders who've gone elsewhere along with Riss's quotes in the Speedway Star as well as S. Worrall's Retirement and see what options you're left with. I do think Z. Cook will do a U-Turn and help Poole out if they ask him to though.
