  1. If we are going to replace Nicolai (will find out more today the extent of his injury) we need to get it right, as after last nights result the playoffs are definitely not out of sight. Interesting to hear Scotty mention the 2-point deduction and hoping that we get it overturned. Does he know something we don’t?
  2. £1.2m a season just from Lublin is outrageous. £85k a meeting £17k a minute
  3. Looking for 5-1’s in Heats 1, 6 and 10 and a 4-2 in heat 8
  4. Interesting article that came out of Polish media is that Dan Bewley is on £1500 a point at Wroclaw, works out at about £10000 -15000 a meeting. Can imagine the 4x world champ dictates a bit more than that lets say £2500 a point, so £25000 a meeting. Cant imagine a world where Ipswich can pay anything close to that (£10k tops). Nevertheless, still not chump change.
  5. Confirmed lineups Birmingham Brummies: 1. Lindgren 2. Brennan 3. Sedgeman 4. Lampart 5. Worrall 6. Pawlicki 7. Flint King’s Lynn Stars 1. Tungate 2. Basso 3. Klindt 4. Iversen 5. Kvech 6. Wojdylo 7. Rowe I’ll go for a narrow Brummies win: 46-44
  6. Confirmed / my proposed guests for Tobi 24th June v Birmingham (a) - Rohan Tungate 27th June v Sheffield (a) - Richard Lawson 1st July v Leicester (h) - Tom Brennan 4th July v Birmingham (h) - Might have to go R/R as only BV not racing 15th July v Leicester (h) - Tobi should be back as suspension ends on 14th July
  7. Stand every chance of winning this and adding 3 more points to the total. if not, the bonus point is at least a must. Only question marks for me are Jan and Patryk and how they will adapt to PB
  8. I’d go with Pickering - was due to guest for us before he got injured. Scored 8 last time he was there in March
  9. @AceBelle where’s Brady? Thought it was no question he’d be in the team tomorrow? As I said before, check the morals of your own team and riders and make sure they don’t the same thing as others before criticising :)
  10. I remember there was some talk of you signing a GP rider, but that seems to have gone all quiet…?
  11. Lynn fan here. Just questioning are Przedpelski and Lindback really upgrades for Oxford? Don’t think Tungate is cut out to be a No. 1 on a consistent basis after seeing him last night. Think they need to find a top-level rider on an 8.00 and push everyone down a place. 1. Laguta? Janowski could tempt him… know he wasn’t the most reliable for us last year, a lot of factors contributed to that though 2. Harris 3. Wright 4. Janowski 5. Tungate 6. Kerr 7. Boughen
  12. If I was to guesstimate I would say typical crowds this season have been 1200-1500. Last night was probably 900-1000
  13. That will be the next 28 day suspension then. Janowski withholding services due to focusing on GPs
  14. Better do some rain dances then to ensure that gets pushed back into Mid-August
  15. Technically Musielak has been given a suspension for withholding services (just worded nicely) Brady already tested his injury when riding in the GP Qualifer…
  16. Bans aren’t possible when you rider for Belle Vue…
  17. So Brady will be racing at Sheffield on Thursday then?
  18. I’ll go for a smidge bigger home win than against Sheffield - 52-38. My proposed line ups, heat results and individual scorers below: Kings Lynn Oxford 1. Lawson 1. Tungate 2. Iversen 2. Kerr 3. Kvech 3. Wright 4. Basso 4. Janowski 5. Klindt 5. Harris 6. Wojdylo 6. Riss 7. Rowe 7. Boughen Heat 1: 4-2 Lawson, Kerr, Iversen, Tungate Heat 2: 4-2 (8-4) Wojdylo, Riss, Rowe, Boughen Heat 3: 3-3 (11-7) Basso, Wright, Janowski, Kvech Heat 4: 5-1 (16-8) Klindt, Rowe, Harris, Boughen Heat 5: 2-4 (18-12) Tungate, Kvech, Kerr, Basso Heat 6: 3-3 (21-15) Harris, Lawson, Iversen, Riss Heat 7: 5-1 (26-16) Klindt, Wojdylo, Wright, Janowski Heat 8: 3-3 (29-19) Kerr, Iversen, Rowe, Boughen Heat 9: 4-2 (33-21) Kvech Harris, Basso, Riss Heat 10: 3-3 (36-24) Lawson, Wright, Janowski, Iversen Heat 11: 4-2 (40-26) Klindt, Tungate, Wojdylo, Kerr Heat 12: 2-4 (42-30) Wright, Kvech, Riss, Rowe) Heat 13: 3-3 (45-33) Lawson, Tungate, Harris, Klindt) Heat 14: 4-2 (49-35) Wojdylo, Janowski, Kvech, Boughen Heat 15: 3-3 (52-38) Tungate, Klindt, Wojdylo, Wright Individuals Kings Lynn 1. Lawson - 11(4) 2. Iversen - 4(4) 3. Kvech - 7(4) 4. Basso - 5(4) 5. Klindt - 11(5) 6. Wojdylo - 10(5) 7. Rowe - 4(4) Total - 52 Oxford 1. Tungate - 10(5) 2. Kerr - 6(4) 3. Wright - 8(5) 4. Janowski - 4(4) 5. Harris - 7(4) 6. Riss - 3(4) 7. Boughen - 0(4) Total - 38
  19. Kings Lynn already tried to stand up to them and got fined 2 points for breaching SCB regulations. It’s also the reason why Kvech isn’t making his debut tomorrow as there’s a rearranged Zielona Gora fixture because someone sold the Thursday protected race night to the highest bidder…
  20. Then why would we bother signing Kvech then? Surely if you knew Tobi was leaving, you would bring in another rider of similar ilk to him and not Kvech to beef up the middle order? Being a GP rider can’t imagine Kvech comes in cheap and if he knew Lynn were desperate he would use that to his advantage anyway? Surely if it was a pure cost-cutting exercise like it’s being suggested then you would have just signed Zach Cook and not even bothered exploring further afield and gone with a team like this… 1. Klindt 2. Z Cook 3. Wojdylo 4. NKI 5. Basso 6. S Lambert 7. Rowe
