  1. I get what you are saying, but when the parking agreement was in place and the meeting ran over then no pcn would have been issued. The last thing you want when leaving speedway is a pcn so the club whether or not you agree just cleared the water .As @Lefty has said below its put him off attending.
  2. I don’t think they could have made any clearer BIRMINGHAM Speedway would like to update supporters attending racenights at Perry Barr in 2023 with the following car parking updates. The previous agreement with the One Stop Shopping centre is NO longer in place and supporters are advised to adhere to the rules displayed should they choose to park there. Stadium Car Parking remains for just £3 while the Club now also have free parking available at Bracebridge Engineering and Kalsi Kitchens on the A34 Walsall Road. Season Ticket holders can now park on the VIP Car Park inside the stadium near the changing rooms - however please note there are only a number of spaces available and these will be taken on a first come, first served basis.
  3. I think you can only park there if you use the shopping centre now as there is no longer any formal agreement with the Speedway.BIRMINGHAM Speedway would like to update supporters attending racenights at Perry Barr in 2023 with the following car parking updates. The previous agreement with the One Stop Shopping centre is NO longer in place and supporters are advised to adhere to the rules displayed should they choose to park there.
  4. Perhaps he meant Harry Webb who lived not to far away from Rye ? I think he went off on his summer holidays and had a wonderful life.(apart from when he came across the old yew tree)
  5. I think you will find almost all of his companies give his home address and have done for years ?
  6. Agreed, according to the main local paper he has a cosy relationship with the interviewer https://www.devonlive.com/sport/sport-opinion/questions-torquay-united-owner-clarke-8940159 so he probably set the questions himself !
  7. I agree about Oxford but I really hope you are wrong about Birmingham and the fans do support what’s on offer and at least give Mr Tolly a chance to build a club for the future.
  8. I Agree , However, I don't think he is a particularly clever conman. Bizarrely, where money is involved, there are still too many people willing to accept what he says at face value. A quick check on his business dealings over the years would reveal all. As they say, 'There's none so blind as those who will not see.' Osborne is nothing but a total faker.
  9. You no like him then ? Have a read of this to see if he can change your mind https://www.torbayweekly.co.uk/news/home/1360077/exclusive-clarke-osborne-interview.html
  10. People’s on here get stressed about all sorts of stuff it’ll be admission costs next
  11. Nigel wagstaff via King’s Lynn he wasn’t allowed to use cheetah’s so used silver machine instead which of course was a single by hawkwind in the 70s I believe
  12. No didn’t know, pure coincidence only , my reference was to the heritage of the Morris to Oxford, Cowley, Isis etc etc
  13. Yeh, that’s what I was getting at with morris men
  14. It never stopped me following the the” robins”from 2007 it was the last thing on my mind, I was just happy to have speedway close by after Oxford closed. perhaps they should be called Oxford Morris men
  15. So was “robins” to be fair but that didn’t stop people watching them
  16. I am sure the Swindon fans would take any of those names just to have their team back. As far as not going because of a name you’re the one losing out, never heard anything like it !
  17. Agree, but it should be accompanied by an adult as at Oxford where it has been very successful
  18. If you’re from Poole you most definitely do
  19. But you can’t always get what you want !
