  1. His figures were from Swindon and Poole where he was owner and leaseholder respectively and were supplied by both incumbent promoters tr and mf also unlike b.e brief on scs and Stox figures nobody from their side challenged those figures so must have felt they were accurate
  2. Osbourne gave evidence with facts to prove his figures and in a professional manner, unfortunately anything else surrounding him will not be taken into account( mores the pity) therefore Brandon estates will be more than happy with his performance. As I said before we all must hope that the appeal fails on the planning arguments and Scs and Stox are given a chance to get back into the stadium.
  3. Update on the Latest from Swindon for anyone with an interest. https://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/news/23951526.homes-built-former-swindon-speedway-stadium-car-park/
  4. Correct, I said as much myself earlier in this thread.
  5. Well said, I am sure Phil Morris would give a passionate summary to the proceedings. I hope you are right about refusal as that would be great early present to all the fans of clubs that have recently folded in similar circumstances
  6. Whether he reads it or not(there are plenty on here who do support him), he should be applauded for putting his money where his mouth is.it will now be up to the good folk of Brum and beyond to come out and support their team and make sure that effort is paid back
  7. He’s looking to pass the buck me thinks
  8. I hope Mr Humpries for Scs does a better job summing up than he has done previously.
  9. When Matt ford gave his evidence at the Brandon planning enquiry he definitely didn’t sound like someone who was disillusioned with the sport at all, rather the opposite
  10. I think as has been said it smooths the way for osbourne as he continues on with his plans, if a new promotion came along to soon it may become a bit uncomfortable for him.Don’t forget el tel has already been paid off anyway
  11. Sometimes the landlord/stadium owner requires it though
  12. You would probably enjoy it even more at Cowley now as the promoter grades the track then comes out on the bowser insisting on doing it all himself so the breaks are doubled such fun.
  13. This information was provided on another thread in September 2022 I think all at Swindon are aware of it by now
  14. Orion has been right on this since day one and nothing has changed to make anybody believe that this is anything more than a sick joke to prolong the agony
  15. Just the sort of positive attitude the club needs dare I say
  16. Because he owns the stadium and they don’t sadly
  17. I thought you asked about the crowd levels a couple of weeks ago ? Have a look at this https://www.rugby.gov.uk/documents/d/guest/15-1-5_oxford_stadium___statement_3604_-pdf?download=true
  18. Ok, but whatever the outcome speedway is almost certainly not going to return to the abbey.
  19. Maybe so but the question posed was has osbourne ever developed a stadium? the answer has to be yes he has.
  20. It has to be completed to satisfy planning no stadium no final phase of houses yes it may close but it has to be fully completed first.
  21. As stated on another thread the stadium had to be built in order to satisfy planning permission for houses to be built on old car park. The houses are now being erected to the right of the two hangers( wouldn’t take any notice of the report below it is wrong) that are for the greyhounds.
  22. As I said it is in progress and in use for dogs https://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/news/23866166.abbey-stadium-new-pictures-show-latest-work-swindon-stadium/ here are the pics from another thread about Swindon stadium no less !
  23. Yes he has at Swindon plenty of pix on other threads of progress made
