I replied to that Hull poster as he was the one who travelled and made the call early doors good of you to let it go end

My reply was to the above poster who by his own admission travelled a considerable distance so he took a big chance.the rest of us me included also took a chance but some of you just can’t get over it Oxford have apologised and have issued refunds but still you have to continue Moaning,Whinging,Carping about the situation I say vote with your feet if you feel so strongly but you’ll still be there just like the usual suspects all bar one of course

As I have said it is unfortunate for those of you who travelled so far but you made the call yourself knowing fully well that the weather forecast was very dodgy so you must have been prepared for the potential outcome.

I understand what you say but I also made round trip of 90 miles for meeting but I took a chance on weather as I did not want to miss out I am sure they will learn from this as next time weather is like it was I for one will probably not go rely on my own judgement instead

I agree this and those supporters who had travelled from Scunthorpe took a big chance on the weather just like we all have in the past so it was unfortunate to be rained off

Fair enough move on and look forward to the next fixture One rain off is hardly the end of the world now is it

Big mistake in my view much better racing in championship with most of the premier riders partaking except the gp stars who most of the time are out of the gate and gone maybe a few years ago but not now in my opinion

Especially if you are travelling from some distance

I am Sure it was announced within 2 days into bank accounts

Reading some of the content and suggestions in this thread some of the contributors may well have been around back then

I agree with that and I have to say we have been treated to some fantastic racing at Oxford this year lots of passing by various riders of home and away teams top riders and youngsters

I Never thought I would say it but have been pleasantly surprised with the std of racing in the championship and find I don’t miss the smattering of top stars so if it means speedway here survives without them so be it. However I would prefer there to be one league rather than a divide

I thought most speedway clubs were run by people who love the sport(Fans), as the days of retiring to the sun on the back of speedway earnings in this country has long since gone
