  1. Some good racing tonight despite the score special mention for Jordan Jenkins how small was that gap and also Henry Atkins among the points again.
  2. I agree with 99% of this but then you had to do the same has him
  3. They would have to I would think to build a competitive side that’s why in the current climate they should stay where they are and remain strong financially and not burst the bubble
  4. I hope Oxford don’t , I see little benefit and increased costs.support has remained strong even through the cost of living crisis with many supporters travelling a considerable distance.
  5. Good result for cheetahs last night great team effort special mention for Luke Killeen who had his best meeting for the cheetahs that I have seen so far
  6. What’s interesting is that so many topics end up being diluted from the original purpose to another episode of Down memory lane
  7. Well lucky for you it won’t be around for much longer
  8. People were always complaining about a blue groove and ruts even that far back however
  9. Yeh I don’t remember darcy ward or Chris holder having any probs passing on that track
  10. Just what has happened at Oxford with Swindon,Reading amongst others attending to boost the crowd ,maybe those Ch and Cov supporters have been away to long
  11. I replied to that Hull poster as he was the one who travelled and made the call early doors good of you to let it go end
  12. My reply was to the above poster who by his own admission travelled a considerable distance so he took a big chance.the rest of us me included also took a chance but some of you just can’t get over it Oxford have apologised and have issued refunds but still you have to continue Moaning,Whinging,Carping about the situation I say vote with your feet if you feel so strongly but you’ll still be there just like the usual suspects all bar one of course
  13. As I have said it is unfortunate for those of you who travelled so far but you made the call yourself knowing fully well that the weather forecast was very dodgy so you must have been prepared for the potential outcome.
  14. I understand what you say but I also made round trip of 90 miles for meeting but I took a chance on weather as I did not want to miss out I am sure they will learn from this as next time weather is like it was I for one will probably not go rely on my own judgement instead
  15. I agree this and those supporters who had travelled from Scunthorpe took a big chance on the weather just like we all have in the past so it was unfortunate to be rained off
  16. Fair enough move on and look forward to the next fixture One rain off is hardly the end of the world now is it
  17. Big mistake in my view much better racing in championship with most of the premier riders partaking except the gp stars who most of the time are out of the gate and gone maybe a few years ago but not now in my opinion
  18. Especially if you are travelling from some distance
  19. I am Sure it was announced within 2 days into bank accounts
  20. Reading some of the content and suggestions in this thread some of the contributors may well have been around back then
  21. Most of those things are what makes speedway exciting for me
  22. Give it a try put your money up. Just as many of them did in the first place. they would be supportive if there was something In it for them
