  1. If you’ve seen some of his suggestions on here, you would understand how brutal that combination would be.
  2. It’s Glasgow’s prerogative to spend what they want, I’m not disputing that. It’s ruined the league by forcing other clubs to live outwith their means, or they just accept that they’re only making up the numbers. Rider demands have went through the roof since Glasgow started throwing money about. Clubs either need to pay wages they can’t afford, or field a non competitive team… it’s unsustainable for the league.
  3. That’s because we don’t chuck a £10k sign-on fee at them… they’ve ruined the league with their ‘win at all costs’ mentality, other clubs can’t keep up with the money they throw around.
  4. It has certainly helped massively having him at reserve, but it hasn’t been the case in every meeting. He missed Berwick away and only scored 9 at Plymouth and Glasgow (SC). The team was built to have a strong reserve and whilst Jonatan won’t score the same, we will have a better balance to us. KO Cup doesn’t count towards rolling averages. He’s currently on 8.85 with one more meeting to ride before he gets an official average.
  5. Whilst we don’t have an out and out number 1, VP and Sedgy are more than capable heat leaders. If we can replace Oskar with another heat leader, backed up by Kye and Paco at 2&4 then that’s a strong top 5. Jonatan is starting to show his potential, and could be at reserve all year. Depending on what route we go down, we could have another strong reserve in beside him… I’d certainly say that is having the foundations of a great team - if we make the right signings.
  6. Rotten? We’ve won at Ashfield, ran Berwick and Plymouth close away. Every meeting bar the Glasgow (A) BSN match has been a last heat decider. We gifted Poole the win last week but we are far from rotten. We’ve got the foundation of a great team, if we can get the Oskar and Max replacements right then we will be challenging.
  7. How do you know McGurk and Marson weren’t asked? We certainly haven’t given up on this tie or the season.
  8. We’ve given up on the tie by being forced to redeclare without Max? 😂 I think we will be confident of progressing with our current 5 + Mark. He’s earned the opportunity by top scoring in the last academy match, even if it is too soon for him.
  9. Very surprising from the Berwick promotion. It would be more understandable if these meetings were months apart, but two local-ish derbies in a row is madness imo. Hopefully it doesn’t affect the numbers through the gate. It’s also hardly exciting for the regular BSN viewer to watch the same track two weeks on the bounce.
  10. BSN is a great service but their match selections are mind boggling sometimes.
  11. I’d imagine that the money Glasgow were chucking at him is why he didn’t want to sign for Poole.
  12. Delay tactics until VP gets an official average.
  13. Won a couple of world championships then turned his back on the UK. Has shown many times he has little respect for others and thinks he is above everyone.
  14. A guy who couldn’t be bothered to ride in British Finals and turned his back on Team GB? Behave
  15. There was excitement and positivity after the first 3 signings were announced. Kye returning has probably dampened the mood but keep the faith, the club will have done their best and I’m certain there will be another surprise.
  16. Definitely crossed the line when he wiped out Tabaka in 2013.
  17. I wouldn’t imagine he was in the team plans, which is why he has signed elsewhere. I think it’s a smart move for both parties, there’s definitely improvement on his current average, I think he can be a solid 5-6 point rider.
  18. Averages from all meetings… Home - 8.08 (8.60 including bonus) Away - 6.07 (6.52 including bonus)
  19. Delighted with the first 3 signings, great start to team building for next year. Have to applaud the promotion for trying something different, it’s been a long time coming.
  20. If we can get the rest of the team right, it shouldn’t be an issue.
  21. What you post on here certainly rhymes with Capp 🫣
  22. Richie’s original suspension was 18 months (9 suspended), he then received an additional 1 month. He would have been eligible to ride from 5/7/24 had he paid his fines. Correct on Morris though, he was given a 2 year ban so ineligible to ride until 12/7/25.
  23. Could be wrong, just what I’ve heard… not sure why you wouldn’t be interested in who other clubs are signing.
  24. Max Perry, the other 6 are in there.
  25. Disguised as doing great things for British Speedway…
