  1. Brilliant meeting last night and a great result for the boys. Connor was electric out the gate and just needs to find more speed, Josh, Paco and Sedgy all outstanding. Sam and Scott are a joy to watch around the dale. It just shows you that there is plenty passing when there’s 2 decent teams on track.
  2. We were in the position where we didn’t need to be chase heat wins. Job done, thanks for coming.
  3. Take back those comments from midweek, Paco…what a guy
  4. At this stage, I just want that middle pairing changed whether it’s a different riding order or bringing new faces in, preferably the latter.
  5. Changes required… Kye, Paco and Connor could all go for me. Started the season well but we all knew this was coming when the team was built. We’ve been too loyal to certain riders who should never have been back this year.
  6. Connor seems to lack any sort of pace. He’s scored some crucial points but he’s been massively disappointing. The team started the season impressively but last night and today have shown that we’re not capable of competing. There must be changes on the horizon…
  7. Don’t agree with Dayles reaction but both Pijpers need to learn how to pass without taking a front wheel.
  8. Stene almost wiped Dayle out on the back straight, Dayle rightly unhappy. Think Stene has been watching his brother too closely, one of them will cause a serious injury riding like that.
  9. Could make 2 changes when you need to replace Complin.
  10. Disappointing not to go through as I feel Poole were there for the taking after the first 4 heats. The track dried out pretty quickly after the first grade and heat 5 killed our momentum. All credit to Poole, they rode well and adjusted to the drying track, Brennan was top notch. On the positive side, it’s another home win against a very strong side. Josh now looks like a reliable number 1 and has been well backed up by Paco & Sedgy. I’ve been impressed with Connor & Max settling in and scoring important points at reserve but Kye was woeful tonight, it’s simply not good enough for a number 3 and I’m not sure how long we can put up with it for.
  11. Good to see some positivity after a 16 point win… I thought our 1-7 all rode well for their first home meeting of the season. We’ve also scored 40+ and Poole and Berwick whilst chucking some points away, think the boys deserve some credit. I do agree that it was brilliant to see some competitive racing again at the dale.
  12. Ref was poor for both sides. Etheridge decision was bonkers and Josh impeded himself when he jumped but he also let Schlein and Hume away with moving at the tapes. Good effort from the Monarchs although we can’t rely on Josh scoring like that all season. Kye and Sedgy will need to step up and Lasse needs to improve. Good to see Paco starting to find some consistency and showing what he’s capable of.
  13. Delighted with that 1-7, reckon there will be improvement in all of the boys and we should hopefully be challenging at the top end of the table. Great effort
  14. Uninspiring way to finish the team when we had over 5 points to use. Will support the boys but can’t see this team competing.
  15. Great signing for Berwick. Absolute madness from Edinburgh not to bring him back after investing in him last season.
  16. Lasse’s form after injury was extremely worrying, wouldn’t surprise me to see his average to drop to 4.00 again. Bastian has a lot more potential imo
  17. Correct, 2.5% discount is 0.075 which means his average should be 2.93 when rounded. An average of 2.92 would mean a 2.66% discount Manipulated to suit.
  18. Made that point yesterday, can’t believe that there hasn’t been more said on it. They’re over the limit as far as I’m concerned.
  19. Personally, I disagree and think that’s it’s just been manipulated to suit. The final issue of averages shows 3.00 regardless if that is 2.995 or 3.004 before it’s rounded. The GB reduction is applied for team building purposes at the start of a new season, therefore the final issued average is what should be used before reduction. Edit: in addition, Ablitts average is exactly 3.00 when calculated so should never be rounded to 2.92
  20. Would be happy with Riss but don’t think he will be in UK next season. Would rather we went with Bastian and a new 5.00 than Lasse and Thomas. Makes no sense to bring Bastian over this season then not use him next season.
  21. Needs to seriously sort out his away form, was unacceptable last season. Should be fine as a number 3 in a weaker league
  22. Great signing. Very impressed with Scott’s words, you can tell he’s highly motivated and the riders will enjoy working with him.
