I was quite impressed with Anders Rowe last year, I wouldn't write him off -

First you say there was no blue groove, then when a pic proves otherwise, you say it didn't affect the racing. When pretty much everyone agrees that it did. Whose the dumb ass, cos it sure isn't me 🤣 -

Nonsense. The picture clearly shows nobody was using the outside -

I don't need to get over anything. I acknowledged Leicester deserved it in my initial post. Not blaming the track, just those that prepared it. We nearly came a cropper on Bank holiday when the track was similar and we had a full team. The team and spectators deserve a properly prepared track. -

There were about 3 or passes that's it. The track was not good. Racing was much more processional than normal. The blue grove was definitely there, it was single file into the bends. You could see from stands on the back straight and by the last 2 heats it was there on the first bend. -

Many of us saw this coming but were hopeful the others could see us through. Well done to Leicester for taking full advantage. Fair play to them. When you operate R/R for your No.1, everyone else has to chip in with valuable points. Bringing in a reserve that you know is not going to score many points means you're effective a 5 man team - very dangerous. But the thing that has annoyed me, is the state of the track AGAIN. Similar to the Bank Holiday, there were blue grooves appearing on the entries to the corner, not as bad but they were there. This meant there was only ever one racing line. Nobody was using the outside which was the only thing that was getting graded with the new shiny tractor. The temperature and weather was normal in the few days before the meeting. So there were no excuses. Not only did we lose but the racing was poor. Not good enough. -
Favourite Speedway manager.

Unfortunately, that is the way of the world these days. If your team is not as good as another team, you have to hate them. There is no middle ground, it's either love or hate. In the UK we are even more special, we get a home grown talent (in any sport), put them on a pedestal and then spend the rest of their careers trying to knock 'em down.

I believe the rule book say you can only do track preparation work between heats 4,7 & 11 and before heat15. Any additional track work has to be agreed with both team managers before being requested to the referee. Not sure if there was a request, but given the early scoreline, Kings Lyn would have been crazy to agree to it.

Ipswich v Birmingham 24th April

If Emil and Jason had ridden, there would be those that would argue that they should have given the youngsters a chance. Some just like to troll and be argumentative. -

Brennan did the absolute right thing in Heat 10. If he hadn't of gone down then Jeppesen would have collected him and both would have ended in the fence. Watch the replays and see how wide he went ( came in far too hot). Ref got it wrong as Tom did the right thing - no point risking a big injury. -
The rider on the inside came in far too hot and took the others out. Totally his fault.

If Sadiq Khan can get a knighthood, then they are pretty much worthless anyway -
If Rew wanted away or demanded too much money, then I can see sense. Can't believe they have let Rew go and kept Danny.
-
Ah come on that was funny - ease up
-
Nope he won't - it's usually the third bend
-
Totally agree. King rode at No.2 and still failed big time. Never seen him team ride.

As Scotty demonstrated last night on TV not only do you have the dangerous build up of dirt on the outside, the middle was very slick and any rider going from the Deep dirt to the slick is likely to get in trouble - again dangerous. Potentially that is what happened to Ben. Very pleased he is not as bad as feared.
-
Very good point. What's it going to take before something gets done about this dangerous track. Has someone got to be killed or in a wheelchair.
-
Such a dangerous track. The fact they have spades rather than rakes say it all.

That's very true. Gary was starting to come good too. -

I remember Martin Dugard forcefully fencing Rob Ledwith after the race finished at Eastbourne because he had the audacity to beat him
