Agree with all the comments you've made. Messing around with the riding order is just plain dumb. Very poor display last night - again. IF we don't like a slick track why prepare it like that - Yes yes the rain, but I'd rather see a meeting postponed with it being prepared how we like it, rather than watch another meeting slick track, resulting in a loss and lack of excitement If the riders were holding back, then that is unfair to the paying public. Clearly, with the low attendance, some clearly saw this coming. Crunch time now, results are wiped and the 4 teams start from the same place. Just can't see us progressing. This great team, riding for the last time together are going to falter.

I've not suggested watering down our league, quite the opposite. Do this to ensure we keep hold of the top guys

I think the answer is to create an Anglo Saxon league. 5 teams for the UK 5 from Denmark 5 from Sweden No Poland. Meet every team one, that's 14 matches. Could add the KO Cup for local teams and maybe even a test match series.

Having beaten them 2 out if 3 times on their own track is really hurting some BV supporters

Shame I thought that would work, but keep Poland out, just three countries, 5/6 teams each.

How are Sweden and Denmark doing? How about an Anglo-Saxon League - 5 teams from UK, 5 from Sweden and 5 from Denmark? Better still 6 if possible, and then a local KO Cup. Would that work?

Same here, Don't recall ever leaving a stadium pissed off and angry before, but last night I was fuming. Don't want to hear any excuses, ah so and so had bike problems, a bit of bad luck etc. It's happened one too many times now. This team is not going to win anything this year if they continue to perform like this. Kings Lynn were fired up and fighting for every point, that was clear, we just seemed to be out for a gentle stroll. With the team we have on paper, these performances are just not good enough.

You have to wonder if it's being done on purpose to keep averages down. The top 4 can now pretty much just stroll into the Play-offs, where any team is going to face 2 of the other 3 teams if they get to the final, so does it matter where they finish.

Well watered and heavy track but given the circumstances better than a dusty slick blue groove nightmare. It produced some great racing as mentioned. No idea what the texter was watching.

Kurtz is on form at the moment and when he's out in front is one of the quickest guys I've seen around Foxhall. Bewley too has been fast when his setup is right, so expecting it to be a close one without JJ to back up Dan. Really hope that Blue Groove isn't there tonight. Seems that first encounter this year, is still hurting a few folk 😉

I wasnt there so I can't make any detailed comments, so we'll done the Stars. I like Kvech so glad to see him scoring well. Want the witches hitting form at the end of the year, so given the circumstances an aggregate bonus point is welcome

Just got to hope the weather wins this one as I can't see an Ipswich win. R/R hasn't produced the right results so far and Danyon, try as hard as he can, is unlikely to trouble 6 out of the 7 Stars. Then you have to wonder what we'll get as a track, after the recent Blue Groove tracks!

First you say there was no blue groove, then when a pic proves otherwise, you say it didn't affect the racing. When pretty much everyone agrees that it did. Whose the dumb ass, cos it sure isn't me 🤣

I don't need to get over anything. I acknowledged Leicester deserved it in my initial post. Not blaming the track, just those that prepared it. We nearly came a cropper on Bank holiday when the track was similar and we had a full team. The team and spectators deserve a properly prepared track.

There were about 3 or passes that's it. The track was not good. Racing was much more processional than normal. The blue grove was definitely there, it was single file into the bends. You could see from stands on the back straight and by the last 2 heats it was there on the first bend.

Many of us saw this coming but were hopeful the others could see us through. Well done to Leicester for taking full advantage. Fair play to them. When you operate R/R for your No.1, everyone else has to chip in with valuable points. Bringing in a reserve that you know is not going to score many points means you're effective a 5 man team - very dangerous. But the thing that has annoyed me, is the state of the track AGAIN. Similar to the Bank Holiday, there were blue grooves appearing on the entries to the corner, not as bad but they were there. This meant there was only ever one racing line. Nobody was using the outside which was the only thing that was getting graded with the new shiny tractor. The temperature and weather was normal in the few days before the meeting. So there were no excuses. Not only did we lose but the racing was poor. Not good enough.

Unfortunately, that is the way of the world these days. If your team is not as good as another team, you have to hate them. There is no middle ground, it's either love or hate. In the UK we are even more special, we get a home grown talent (in any sport), put them on a pedestal and then spend the rest of their careers trying to knock 'em down.

The track caught Ipswich out, so definitely wasn't setup for them, any talk of such makes no sense. I think the track staff just simply messed up.

Unfortunately, you have to think of the worst situation, so for example, the home team are losing and decide to over water the track after every race to try to hamper the away team. By having scheduled times it restricts the work that can be performed.

I believe the rule book say you can only do track preparation work between heats 4,7 & 11 and before heat15. Any additional track work has to be agreed with both team managers before being requested to the referee. Not sure if there was a request, but given the early scoreline, Kings Lyn would have been crazy to agree to it.
