Warsaw GP Saturday 17th May

To be fair he did finish 8th so would have been in the semis if we were using last years format, just a few riders scoring all the points -

He'll qualify in the last position, come from behind to nick 2nd in the LCQ and then have a perfect gate to win the final. -

Phil Morris saw this comment and decided we couldn't be having any entertainment and flooded the track -
Real shame as he looked good in the meetings I saw him in. Unless they pull a miraculous signing I can't see Edinburgh even finish 8th especially when Victor gets his real average.

Only a draw if you lose (I don't like them either)
-
He came 3rd but that might be one of Ashton's most promising rides, kept stuck in for all 4 laps
-
Think he might be on a 4.50 converted from his Prem average which would certainly be a masterstroke as he could go to reserve when Mitch gets his average
-
Happy to see Gusts will still be riding in the UK. Ashame for Gilkes though and hopefully he'll be able to recover well and quickly. If he is out for longer, I am looking forward to seeing Gusts at Glasgow as I rate him highly.

As Glasgow fans we are used to our kids races (we do 2 now) the issue is that it looked like after that had finished there was a further 15-20 minutes of nothing happening on track at all, not even a tractor going round. Maybe BSN missed some stuff or if there were multiple interval entertainment sections spreading them over the other intervals instead of just one would have helped. My guess was a sun delay that BSN wasn't told about but have no clue if the sun was even out.

Think it will be June 1st, at the moment straight to No1 -

Not that it was really needed but great team riding in heat 3 -
Think they mean more that Paco is riding instead of a guest tonight so the other 6 riders need to click together as Paco isn't the strongest round Ashfield (or at best not consistent)

I think it was Leon said in an interview that him and Dan are still getting used to riding with each other (knowing where each wants to go) so I think it's fine to leave riding order as is, if those 2 click together it makes it very difficult for the away team to get any momentum/make any tac subs against them. -
Workington v Scunthorpe BSN 03/05/25 3pm

Was also on BSN which does affect crowds, same at Glasgow on Sunday. -
Is he not on a 9.20 now anyway since he's not started the year in the championship he'd use his converted Prem average?

Glasgow v Berwick BSN cup 18/4/25@19.30

Think it was a few meetings before that when Ace took him out and he wasn't particularly pleased. Think this downturn in form though came after his crash in the CLRC at Redcar last year, hasn't been the same since. -

Should be a close meeting, Cookie, Hagon and Drew are strong here and Hume and Smith have also had good meetings as home riders. Kildeman should also do well. If Boughen and Flint are going well though Glasgow might have too much power for the Bandits. Hopefully the track is good tonight, BSN have chosen a good meeting to stream. -
Edinburgh v Berwick BSN Series Friday 2nd May 7.30pm

Threw away at least 1 point for the group as would have finished 45-45 with the 5-1 instead of a 3-2. Could be important for best loser or even Berwick winning the group. -
I think its more a confidence think at the moment. If he makes the start and gets out front he looks unstoppable, if he doesn't he'll shut off or over ride causing him to fall. Having a good meeting or two should hopefully help him but unlike Borke I think Boughen needs race time to solve his issues.

4 riders in the British Final and 4 riders in the U21 Final, pretty good going for our riders
