As Glasgow fans we are used to our kids races (we do 2 now) the issue is that it looked like after that had finished there was a further 15-20 minutes of nothing happening on track at all, not even a tractor going round. Maybe BSN missed some stuff or if there were multiple interval entertainment sections spreading them over the other intervals instead of just one would have helped. My guess was a sun delay that BSN wasn't told about but have no clue if the sun was even out.

Think it will be June 1st, at the moment straight to No1 -

Not that it was really needed but great team riding in heat 3 -
Think they mean more that Paco is riding instead of a guest tonight so the other 6 riders need to click together as Paco isn't the strongest round Ashfield (or at best not consistent)

I think it was Leon said in an interview that him and Dan are still getting used to riding with each other (knowing where each wants to go) so I think it's fine to leave riding order as is, if those 2 click together it makes it very difficult for the away team to get any momentum/make any tac subs against them. -
Workington v Scunthorpe BSN 03/05/25 3pm

Was also on BSN which does affect crowds, same at Glasgow on Sunday. -
Is he not on a 9.20 now anyway since he's not started the year in the championship he'd use his converted Prem average?

Glasgow v Berwick BSN cup 18/4/25@19.30

Think it was a few meetings before that when Ace took him out and he wasn't particularly pleased. Think this downturn in form though came after his crash in the CLRC at Redcar last year, hasn't been the same since. -
Glasgow v Berwick BSN cup 18/4/25@19.30

Should be a close meeting, Cookie, Hagon and Drew are strong here and Hume and Smith have also had good meetings as home riders. Kildeman should also do well. If Boughen and Flint are going well though Glasgow might have too much power for the Bandits. Hopefully the track is good tonight, BSN have chosen a good meeting to stream. -
Edinburgh v Berwick BSN Series Friday 2nd May 7.30pm

Threw away at least 1 point for the group as would have finished 45-45 with the 5-1 instead of a 3-2. Could be important for best loser or even Berwick winning the group. -
I think its more a confidence think at the moment. If he makes the start and gets out front he looks unstoppable, if he doesn't he'll shut off or over ride causing him to fall. Having a good meeting or two should hopefully help him but unlike Borke I think Boughen needs race time to solve his issues.

4 riders in the British Final and 4 riders in the U21 Final, pretty good going for our riders

What is it with Kings Lynn Glasgow riders getting hip injuries, is Bomber next

Berwick ‘buy a brick’ Bandits 2025

I think it might actually be a good window for Jack Smith. Berwick over the next month are away at Edinburgh, Glasgow, Redcar, Scunthorpe and Poole. He can score well at Redcar, Glasgow and Scunthorpe and had a good meeting at Berwick last year for Glasgow so it might work out. -
Berwick v Edinburgh Sat 26 April
MB723 replied to Endeavour's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
It was very bumpy, you could see going into the corners the bike jumping even Drew was talking about riding the bike almost like a motocross bike. Class riders are class for a reason they'll take advantage and ride it out. Bumps aren't always bad but they did look quite big. -

Do Edinburgh have a rider to pair with Polis to get a heat advantage, can't see anyone else beating Cook and Kemp? -

If I was Oskar I'd be offended getting compared to Matic -

Shows how skilled Polis is, looked terrified his first race, comes out for his second one and looks like a completely different rider. He'll do well over here. -
Edinburgh v Glasgow BSN Series Friday 25th April 7.30pm
MB723 replied to eide67's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Should be close might depend on if Polis gets going, R/R for him scored 7+1 in the Scottish Cup so he'll probably have to match that especially if Leon and Ashton are stronger. Personally don't think you should be able to use guests from teams in the same group, Edinburgh will probably want to use one of the Glasgow reserves at Berwick if they can. -
Shame as you never want to see any young Brits leave but probably the best decision if he's not happy riding. Is Jody Scott on a 2.00 average?

BERWICK v GLASGOW (BSN) Saturday, April 19 (7pm)

Good showing from Perry so far, great to see -
I think using riders not in heat 15 would be unfair for more strength in depth teams. Glasgow, Redcar or Poole would have an advantage over Edinburgh or Oxford for example just because the former chose to have weaker reserves to have a stronger top end.
-
Think they did away with that so new fans wouldn't get confused only to replace it with new fans being confused with an extra race with a different scoring system.

Glasgow Vs Edinburgh Scottish cup 2nd leg 11/04/25
MB723 replied to damosuzuki's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Once Ashton gets comfortable again I think Flint would be better at 2, be similar to the end of 2023 with Tom and Bomber and puts less pressure on Flint and lets him ride to his potential like he is at Sheffield at the moment. It was only for one race they were together but Leon and Dan looked to want similar bits of track while I think Boughen and Dan will be a bit more seperate.
