  1. I think it might actually be a good window for Jack Smith. Berwick over the next month are away at Edinburgh, Glasgow, Redcar, Scunthorpe and Poole. He can score well at Redcar, Glasgow and Scunthorpe and had a good meeting at Berwick last year for Glasgow so it might work out.
  2. It was very bumpy, you could see going into the corners the bike jumping even Drew was talking about riding the bike almost like a motocross bike. Class riders are class for a reason they'll take advantage and ride it out. Bumps aren't always bad but they did look quite big.
  3. Do Edinburgh have a rider to pair with Polis to get a heat advantage, can't see anyone else beating Cook and Kemp?
  4. If I was Oskar I'd be offended getting compared to Matic
  5. Shows how skilled Polis is, looked terrified his first race, comes out for his second one and looks like a completely different rider. He'll do well over here.
  6. Should be close might depend on if Polis gets going, R/R for him scored 7+1 in the Scottish Cup so he'll probably have to match that especially if Leon and Ashton are stronger. Personally don't think you should be able to use guests from teams in the same group, Edinburgh will probably want to use one of the Glasgow reserves at Berwick if they can.
  7. Shame as you never want to see any young Brits leave but probably the best decision if he's not happy riding. Is Jody Scott on a 2.00 average?
  8. I think using riders not in heat 15 would be unfair for more strength in depth teams. Glasgow, Redcar or Poole would have an advantage over Edinburgh or Oxford for example just because the former chose to have weaker reserves to have a stronger top end.
  9. Think they did away with that so new fans wouldn't get confused only to replace it with new fans being confused with an extra race with a different scoring system.
  10. Once Ashton gets comfortable again I think Flint would be better at 2, be similar to the end of 2023 with Tom and Bomber and puts less pressure on Flint and lets him ride to his potential like he is at Sheffield at the moment. It was only for one race they were together but Leon and Dan looked to want similar bits of track while I think Boughen and Dan will be a bit more seperate.
  11. To be fair, I don't think he wants to go wide, he looks to be unable to hold it even to the middle of the track. Maybe has too much speed?
  12. There were points were they looked like they could beat some other Edinburgh riders but didn't quite have the power. Perry and Hodder werent afraid to go wide and were trying different lines, they both definetly have potential
  13. Track wasn't perfect tonight, very bumpy for the first few heats, then quite slick so gating was important. Definetly wasn't the best meeting for Leon but he was always close to the rider ahead was just a bit tougher to pass than normal tonight. Boughen showed what he can do in heat 8 he'll definetly improve. Reserves I think will improve, they didn't look bad just lacking some outright pace. Polis, Sedgmen and Palovaara were very strong and made it very difficult to get a heat advantage anywhere, Grahn also seemed to find something in his last ride to get an important 1-5.
  14. There are positives and negatives for both formats (finals vs just 20 heats) maybe for the top 6 format the two straight through to the final have a match race (with the top scorer choosing gates) after the semi to decide who gets first gate pick? Would at least mean the tyres are all in the same condition and will let the top 2 see the track after the final grading (also gives 1 more race for fans).
  15. Going into the corner Erik came over far too hard, he was practically touching Kerr while leaning right over him and Kerr would have had no way to anticipate that when going into the corner, Erik was still a fair bit behind. As soon as Erik went in it was always going to be an accident.
  16. Was thinking the same thing, Kerr really had nowhere to go

Who's going to be the first rider to stop the Marquez show?
  18. Since he hasn't actually ridden for Berwick yet would it not be similar to Covatti at Plymouth where they had to use a reduced average for guests even though he was legitimately out with an injury, would they even be allowed to run guests?

Rule introduced last year (or 2023 can't remember), tyres have to be over the minimum pressure set by Michelin for 60% of the race or 30% of the sprint (rider can see this on their dash). This was the reason Marc had to drop behind his brother as Ducati miscalculated his pressures.

93 looked unstoppable this weekend and the gap between him and his brother will only grow as the red bike gets upgrades, going to need Peco to get into some sort of groove or Marc's only title challenger will be tyre pressures
  21. If you mean on the statistics page I'd guess it's because he hasn't raced any meetings over here yet so won't have a rolling average. When the first green sheet is out he'll have his assessed average on that
  22. The reason I always see mentioned is track material, not sure if that's a main factor or not though
  23. Really like Gusts, happy to see him in the UK
  24. His ban ends at the start of December this year
