BB done better than the number one and number five. All that talk of how he isn’t good enough and he showed them up.

Oxford Spires v Birmingham Brummies 26/6/25 19:30

Nah sorry I didn’t mean why did he ride bad, I was out all night and looked at British speedway results when I returned home and they didn’t even name him in the team so I thought he didn’t ride! Then I checked BSN and saw he did. Just realised they named Keynan Rew twice 🤦🏼 how professional. -

What happened to Zagar? -
Hasn’t he got a YouTube channel as well? I commented one time on it saying “why did you reference every match but Ipswich va Kings Lynn” and he responded with “I try not to mention things that will happen every week”

Next match Wroclaw vs Częstochowa, there are tickets available for £7 in the main stand near the starting gate.

He must have a cold* -
It’s true. PGE are massive there is no denying and the sponsorship money heavily outweighs the gate money. Also everyone should remember that local councils have a set budget for sports to help out, normally 50% speedway / 50% football, I know Gorzow is more like 65/35 due to stal being far greater than stilon. Our councils can’t sort out the roads and day to day running so no chance they would help out our speedway. I know Thurrock and Essex and soon Cambridge councils will all be in heavy debt even with the government funding. Goes back to the root of the people… too many people in the country illegally or people sponging off the government from other peoples hard earn tax.

SGP Gorzow 2025
ShanoXtra replied to aarongaleuk's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
The best part is the post on Instagram FIMwomen who stated “history is made” with her being the first woman, had so many sh!tty comments (mine being one) that two days later they removed the comment section and you could only share and like the post 😂 -
Yeah that’s due to how poor the club has been run and the fans going against the old president. Next year if they stay up it will go back to normal. In Poland people say they can’t afford the Extraliga matches… they are equivalent to £12 English money to see the best league in the world!
-
But you still wouldn’t turn up for the “qualifiers” with or without Dan or Brady so Belle Vue would collapse !
-
My thoughts precisely, other revenue that wasn’t available years ago through BSN must be an added bonus. This is the same as TNT and any major sport which has TV rights, clubs take the hit on gate for the % and larger scale of viewing audience and future fans. Although I’m not naïve and understand speedway TV money isn’t as large as any other sport.
-
Louis also stated in the winter that foxhall would hold some kind of individual junior meeting of some kind, do we have any news if that is actually happening?
-
I didn’t know them 3 years ago when I was first introduced to the sport but best believe when I got hooked on it and saw how many levels above other riders they are then I was very happy to pay extra to watch some of the best riders in the world! People moaning about MJJ finishing at Birmingham and how BB isn’t a good replacement, well that will be the template for the one league everyone thinks will succeed.
-
And watch the whole of speedway collapse and then we have nothing to watch, that’s the other problem.
-
Gorzow today announced that for the Wroclaw match this Friday night, when you buy 3 tickets you will receive additional 3 tickets for free.
-
People need to be careful what they wish for though is all I’m saying. If this reshuffling means that’s, for example, Emil and Jason aren’t at Ipswich. Then even if the ticket is £10 you aren’t getting many people to attend to watch lesser quality riders.
-
This forum is dammed if you do and dammed if you dont, it’s funny really. Now it’s all about how expensive the tickets are, when I suggested a few months ago to reduce the cost to get more people in the stadium the reaction was “you won’t get more people because it’s all about the poor promotion”. Again, if people haven’t got something to moan about they aren’t happy, look at the comments on here when even a SGP is on, still people moan about boring racing, maybe change your sport would be my suggestion. Ipswich town tickets were about £40+ a pop last season and they couldn’t get a win at home for love nor money. People still packed the stadium every week though. The football wasn’t good, but people still supported. I don’t believe it’s just down to money, it’s a factor yes, but not solely money. People pay for many other sports without a problem, it’s more the product with the guesting, no loyalty with the riders, no jeopardy in the league, other stuff like that.

We now have some of the best riders in the world finally on British shores. Yet people still would rather “pick and choose” their meetings and not support the sport. There is no excuse. People on the forum need to actually start attending matches and helping the sport out inside of constantly moaning about this and that. Latest I heard was most matches are “qualifiers” for the play offs. That’s an embarrassing reason to not attend. Polish fans could think the same around this time of the season but they love the sport and just go to watch races. Too much negatively on this forum. Turn your phone off on a Monday or Thursday night and actually go out and watch some speedway instead of just chatting BS. Belle Vue have two of the best riders currently in the world but still can’t be bothered to attend until September as they always state… why?

If Gorzow stay in Ekstraliga the 2026 team is almost completed with the removal of Fajfer, Thomsen, Vaculik, Krok, Chatłas. 2026 team pending: J. Holder R.Tungate A. Lebedevs Ptr. Pawlicki M. Drabik M. Pollestad O. Paluch -
Although we did damage to BV in the cup this will be a different meeting completely, I expect BV to put up more of a match now being in the season and with Kurtz / Bewley slightly injured still and also Doyle / King / Thompson / Jenkins not 100% either I think it’ll be the battle of grit and determination mixed with endurance! Should be a good one though, at least BV track isn’t as harsh to ride as others whilst injured so both sets of riders should make it through OK.
