Track staff learning special signals it looks like as the comms aren’t working to the ref.

If anyone is genuinely interested. Riders up at taped 21:30. Called back to the pits due to electrical issues and they just genuinely came on the TA asking if anyone is an electrician. Or for anyone to come fast.

Im in the stadium and they are announcing every 5 minutes updates. The track is slightly different to what they first thought so maybe 21:30 start

Top layer has been taken off, water starting to be moved, bikes starting up. It’s go time for 21:15

It will be called off, Richard saying they will give it to 9 is pointless. Rain is persistent until 21:30 as the forecast shows.

And the decision is… we wait 😂 20:45 update. Whistles round the stadium.

Deffo won’t be final though when they can start racing before 22:00. I was at Sweden a few years back and they turned that around quick.

Next decision, not final though. When the rain stops there will be track work. Apparently the pits is more of a problem than the track.

I swear i said all of this before 🤦🏼 the next storm was always due, you need to start the race at 21:30 local time. Another storm has started to arrive and will be here until just gone 21:00

I mean it has been 35 degrees all day and only started raining at 18:15 which was forecast all week and also I woke up to a text amber warning so they can’t say they weren’t warned! Why did they not cover the track 🤦🏼

Confident it’s happening now! Drainage is better than anything I’ve ever seen, pushed the water down and soon a machine will come to make the track better then sounds like it’s good to go if the next batch of rain doesn’t show! Let’s go racing!

More storms due at 19:30 until 20:30 local time so I think earliest will be 21:00 local time unless the wind pushes the storm past faster.
