  1. We now have some of the best riders in the world finally on British shores. Yet people still would rather “pick and choose” their meetings and not support the sport. There is no excuse. People on the forum need to actually start attending matches and helping the sport out inside of constantly moaning about this and that. Latest I heard was most matches are “qualifiers” for the play offs. That’s an embarrassing reason to not attend. Polish fans could think the same around this time of the season but they love the sport and just go to watch races. Too much negatively on this forum. Turn your phone off on a Monday or Thursday night and actually go out and watch some speedway instead of just chatting BS. Belle Vue have two of the best riders currently in the world but still can’t be bothered to attend until September as they always state… why?
  2. If Gorzow stay in Ekstraliga the 2026 team is almost completed with the removal of Fajfer, Thomsen, Vaculik, Krok, Chatłas. 2026 team pending: J. Holder R.Tungate A. Lebedevs Ptr. Pawlicki M. Drabik M. Pollestad O. Paluch
  3. Although we did damage to BV in the cup this will be a different meeting completely, I expect BV to put up more of a match now being in the season and with Kurtz / Bewley slightly injured still and also Doyle / King / Thompson / Jenkins not 100% either I think it’ll be the battle of grit and determination mixed with endurance! Should be a good one though, at least BV track isn’t as harsh to ride as others whilst injured so both sets of riders should make it through OK.
  4. Solid win for a witches team still getting back to full fitness. Leicester put up a fight in the end.
  5. God knows haha fricke said the track is hard to ride though? Ipswich doing ok but I guess it’s same as Belle Vue going to Leicester and getting turned over !
  6. You know why, because this time he has Doyle and Emil against him 😂
  7. Still out here in Gorzow and according to numerous Polish media outlets only 6 of the 16 riders who participated in an individual event and spoke of giving their winnings to Tai have actually transferred the funds. The below riders are the only riders who have given so far from whom participated according to Tai: Zmarzlik Kubera Vaculik Thomsen Emil Przyjemski I’m surprised Lambert and Bewley haven’t coughed up their money (right or wrongly) and also łaguta who was the first one saying they would give the money to Tai.
  8. The guy deserves to make his own decision on his future for sure, with a young family, I think this has made him realise how things can change, I wonder if Darcy’s life changing moment has made him think it’s not worth it anymore, especially when he wasn’t even due to ride in Ekstraliga this season.
  9. Decent crowds at Ipswich each week is true although deffo peaked on BH Monday vs kings Lynn, biggest crowd I’ve seen for a while! I do think TV / Streaming angles aren’t great at foxhall though, they base themselves normally so you can’t actually see everyone on bend one and two and then because of the stock car track you don’t see hardly any of the stand on the back straight.
  10. This was Toruń fans last night winning against GKM. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/19xdxvAp2b/?mibextid=wwXIfr
  11. Good old witches team… none of them missing their club meeting 😉
  12. Vaculik > Lublin Kubera > Z. Gora J.Holder > Gorzow Wiktor Przyjemski > Bydgoszcz K. Rew > Z. Góra Enquiry from Stal - Tungate > Gorzow
  13. Toruń win the derby day! Some really strong racing and even the best making the smallest of mistakes and being punished. I think English TV should invest in broadcasting Ekstraliga over here on TV! Then people turn up to British speedway the following week 😂😂😂
  14. It didn’t hit him it exploded near him. Toruń fans letting off flares and firecrackers in the breaks of play. Toruń club will end up having issues from it as neither are permitted.
  15. Injury for one of the workers due to a fire cracker. Small delay.
  16. Can’t disagree with that reply! Pretty much true.
  17. And you think Poland don’t have issues with money? Yet they still come to Manchester which is a much more expensive trip than English people to travel to Poland. English people find money to go on holidays and football matches and even Manchester GP so if they really wanted to they could save and go. Enough* said.
  18. I agree he was never going to make that pass stick and it was bad judgment to try, but I was happy as a witches fan to finally see him mix it again and get a decent win and a few good second places. When he won, he came right past us with our Ipswich scarfs waving and nodded so he knew he had some support at least! Lastly, I’ve been to Gorzow GP the last three years and this year was noticeable that hardly any English fans bothered travelling. I remember seeing lots of Leicester and Sheffield fans with their tops last year but only saw two families with Bewley and that’s it. It’s easy to say that the stadium was a smaller crowd but when other countries fans don’t turn up either it does show. Even very small lindgren and danish fans to my shock. I only heard a lot of German (probably due to how close). I wonder why even foreign fans aren’t travelling anymore?
  19. I few comments on here not true… Zmarzlik had no issue with Kurtz winning and greeted him multiple times smiling and celebrating with him. Zmarzlik also celebrated with the home fans many time (probably off live TV) after the meeting and was smiling and laughing with Kurtz and Bewley. The only thing I noticed that he has changed is that he rides harder now and more aggressive and maybe because he realises someone is really trying to take his crown. All in all, tonight for me had everything, the atmosphere will never be beaten when you come to Poland, the weather was perfect and the racing was great… not gate and go and some good moves. Not many BV fans on here regarding the SGP this week I noticed. Gorzow will remain on the calendar but only give one to Manchester and maybe another goes to Poland, somewhere new. The comments about empty seats… there were many in the lower tier due to people in Gorzow and Toruń liking to stand under the upper tier with a beer or two and not sit down, although granted, still deffo not a sell out and 3,000 short I would assume.
