  1. Yeah when his wheel went up there was a sudden inhale of breath from the “shed” stand I was sitting in, how he continued I don’t know, but even more impressive is that he still tried to hunt down the leader and it didn’t phase him! The way he rides and finds lines was far superior than any of the other riders and he wasn’t scared to throw it outside or inside when others held back. I’ve watched him for a fair few years and I’ve always rated him higher that Cairns
  2. The guys who are high 30’s in age must be breathing a sigh of relief that they don’t have to worry about the future of speedway! Speedway in Poland over the next few years will start to decline due to riders rinsing the clubs for money and it’s finally showing that clubs can’t sustain it. I heard one U24 rider wanted 1 million zloty to sign for stal, not naming anyone direct, but stal quickly said this shows the mindset of riders and what they think they can demand, and no the rider in question wasn’t someone worthy of 1 million zloty!
  3. Tai’s story is being sold with SGP not British speedway next year 😉
  4. How you including Rushen in the championship level riders? He doesn’t ride in the championship 😆
  5. The meeting was abandoned due to curfew. The pairs race does not officially stand, although Kev on the centre green said Ipswich will recognise the result. Cooper was who most people went tonight to watch let’s be honest and he didn’t disappoint, best moves made by him and best bike control when he almost ended up on the stock car track. To finish 2nd only to a Premiership rider isn’t a bad nights work. I’m sure Mr Louis will have his eye on him. Probably a crowd of 200/300? The back straight stand was almost empty with everyone choosing to stand on bends one and two which is normally underneath the cameras, or in the smaller start line stand, I was there so can’t say how it looked on TV. Ipswich held the best 2025 crowd last week (including Manchester SGP), tonight was more like our equivalent crowd for SoN 😂
  6. Another reason why Ipswich is well run, all riders very social with the fans and will stop and chat and take photos after meetings, not just in the van and go. Even Doyle and Emil who are too boys give a lot of time to fans. When Ipswich won the title I would bet if you speak to a lot of fans it was so positive because it’s like a family club and everyone has time for each other, win together and lose together.
  7. Gorzow city have agreed to become the guarantor of the loan. The club will receive a licence to operate under for the 2026 season as an Ekstraliga team. Official statements will be released in the coming weeks.
  8. Glasgow only recently uprated their air fence to accommodate the FIM they had last year was it? Might even have been this year, I can’t remember. I deffo saw an interview saying they had to pay thousands to update it to comply with regs, Ipswich would be the same. I’ve heard Chris Louis speak on how expensive the FIM uprated air fences are.
  9. The air fence isn’t that’s for sure. I know it’d be a fair few thousand to bring that up to the FIM standard.
  10. But that Poole meeting was already scheduled before he agreed to ride at Foxhall so it makes no sense?
  11. How are people saying Ipswich is hard to get to but Malilia was on the SGP calendar 😂 that’s the worst place I’ve ever visited to get to. Foxhall you can get buses from the town centre and super easy to drive to. The surrounding area is so big you could have a massive car park and the SGP set up (DJ etc) on it, and probably create a better atmosphere than most other stadiums that just have it in a small location near the stadium. Ipswich would be accessible for all of east Anglia and London, and do Manchester for anyone midlands up. The only problem with Ipswich is the stock car track and not a real sense of being right next to the action. Apart from that, I think Thursday night showed how well you can hold an event, even with the pyros. Chris Louis would know how to hold a SGP event that’s for sure! I would say it’s about 1% chance of happening by though as they would have to clear it with locals, and spedeworth and also foot the 6 figure costing to SGP. But… pack out a 10,000 event at £50 a pop and you could make it profitable.
  12. Out of the top two leagues, Leszno had the biggest crowd on any one off night, bigger than even Torun’s Ekstraliga final attendance. Wroclaw had the best average attendance at 13,675 with an impeccable 100% attendance record all season.
  13. Leszno, Częstochowa and Stal to be fighting for relegation and Wroclaw vs Torun for the title. Lublin is very much a weakened team and if Vaculik has the season he had at Stal that’s a big problem, could find themselves fighting just to be in the play offs. I know due to the money situation Stal have decided to go young and try to build a team who will be stronger in a few years, their financial plan is a long term loan to pay back 1 million over 10 years, so this young team will be close to the team year in, year out for a few years. To reduce overheads and to be fair, you may find a few more clubs having internal audits and having issues, it was spoken a few years back that the riders financial demands is exceeding the financial profit of some teams. You only have to see that the night Doyle scored 20 points and made near on 200,000 zloty for Częstochowa, it was a bad night, it was away from home in Wroclaw so they didn’t even get any gate money that night!
  14. It’s an improvement on Ipsh!t which people comment often 😂
  15. Torun would deffo not have a say on whether he rides or not, any rider can choose any league they want, it’s purely down to Emil and how it’s a lot easier to get to Scandinavia from Poland than it is to fly to UK or if he can get another visa.
  16. Although it’s potentially the weakest I’d say it has the option to be the most competitive because it’s more evenly spread. you know why… British speedway is taking over 😉 all this big money coming in 😂 sorry I just woke up from my dream!

  18. I saw that he was there on Thursday, Abi posted a photo with him, and a few others in the pits before the meeting started, then Bewley posted a Instagram story during the meeting sitting at the back of the stand and tagged Foxhall stadium. He has always been complimentary of Ipswich and liked Chris a lot. He also spoke in an interview of how he always knows Ipswich has big crowds and likes the fans, topped with how nice he is as a guy I think everyone would welcome him! Emil’s work Visa runs out now as it’s been three years, they can renew it for about few thousand pounds obviously if they wanted. Emil hasn’t got SGP again so would be available but for me the most telling sign was that he posted about how he is happy because Chris Louis is smiling and that he could be the one to make him happy, chapter closed? Lastly, Dan does go down to ride Jake Nicholls MotoX track at Guys house often, my mates are into MotoX and have seen him there quite often, he rode MotoX on Thursday so wouldn’t be surprised if he did that with Jake and then said he would come watch the match.
  19. Firstly, if you wanna talk cr@p then @ me and don’t just write my name so I can respond. You clearly have a complex over Poland having the best league but don’t know why you are saying I want British speedway to fall? I’m British so how does that make sense? And also why is it Polands job to promote world speedway 😂 never seen the Premier League promote La Liga or any other foreign league so why is speedway different? Get your own house in order before looking elsewhere. Why didn’t all the other teams in the British Premiership (speedway) write on their social media about Ipswich Witches vs Leicester and promote it? Ohhhh yeah, because it doesn’t benefit them, Poland has no gain from waxing lyrical about British Speedway. Stop blaming another country and look at your home town and why people don’t turn up. If you are calling me and @arnieg clowns because British speedway is failing then I’d say you must must be the ring master of the circus 😂 no info, no idea, just a keyboard in front of you and a box of tissues to cry into by the sounds of it. By the way, Ipswich got about 6,000 fans in the final and 4,000 for the derby day against Kings Lynn, because some clubs can’t promote, or their town/city aren’t bothered about speedway don’t say everyone is failing, Ipswich are quite the success story over the last 3 years, and that’s because they took a gamble with Emil and Doyle and then built from that. PS. Even if Poland did win SoN they still wouldn’t be bothered!
  20. To have this support tonight was so special for the lads, it felt hard work at times and deffo you could feel real pressure and nerves in the crowd and riders at times. To have to open the back stand on bend three because of the amount of people is a credit to the fans, the running and promotion of the club and the riders. I don’t know how good the meeting looked on tv, but it felt special to have so many people here tonight and the joy in the riders faces on the centre green celebrating just made the night amazing. Leicester were worthy finalists and on another night could have won it, but something just felt special about tonight, like it was meant to be our night. I hope speedway won tonight and not just Ipswich. We need to build this sport back to bring these crowds back. 2025 you’ve been special! Thanks for all teams who raced us, rivals or not, I hope everyone experiences what I felt tonight 🏆👏🏻 Until next time…
  21. New figures have been spoken of up to 10 million zloty for Częstochowa
