Ipswich vs King’s Lynn Thursday 21st August

No I’m showing you the same details as per what clubs have given to the official website of SRBF. Calm your horses, the money raised is probably inline with attendances of the clubs realistically. I don’t care who gave what as I’m not a rider benefiting from it. -

Solid night’s work for the guys, no big guns in 15, got to give Brennan his dues he rode like a number 5 tonight and his bike was like a rocket! Edwards great battle to hold off Iversen in 8. Thompson looked more like his usual foxhall self in his first outing but tailed off. Emil and Doyle looked good without really needing to break a sweat. Picked up three points and move onto the next. -

Be interesting to see what the boys do tonight, what mood they are in and if they go for every inch or are now preparing for the play offs and will back out of ‘iffy’ moves. Remember it’s Ben Fund so everyone bring a few quid 😁 -
Those comments were before he kept falling off every return from injury meeting I think. But now it’s a no brainier, just a shame really that we can’t finish the season with the 1-7 from Jan but such is life! Edward’s probably now riding for his spot, next season in that same position I’d imagine!

What they should do is write this as a response: The local council acknowledges the thoughts from our locals and would like to counter the proposal of a speedway stadium, if the locals would prefer a different type of community feel we are much for this and to reduce the count in traffic volumes we would like to announce that the speedway stadium will not be built in this location and instead, a new hotel will be built in its place to house migrates. The hotel will bring more jobs to the local area and we very much back this idea. Goodbye!

Adam Ellis is currently having a MRI scan following a crash on Tuesday night in Sweden on his left knee. RR tonight and we hope he is not too badly injured for the business end of the season 😬

King’s Lynn Stars vs Oxford Spires - 18.08.25
ShanoXtra replied to StarBoy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Or any sunshine then it requires a break in match as well, in both Ipswich matches the start has been delayed due to the club not getting the fans through the turnstiles, I'd suggest to have tickets online to alleviate that issues or at least help the situation. -
Everyone has forgotten we were favourites to beat kings Lynn as well on previous form in the cup… look how that turned out 🤦🏼 anything goes in the play offs, I just think we have too many riders you can’t fully rely on at the moment. I agree this season has been brilliant, but we do all know how just one off day for a rider can ruin your success. At least we have talking points and nothing is a given for the play offs, we don’t even know who will face who as everyone still faces each other in the league.
-
And to add to that he got 3 points out of 4 rides from Ipswich vs Kings Lynn so that throws your theory out the water.
-
No he beat your riders as well as there are three riders on track.
-
I’ve still got my reservations that we beat Belle Vue in the semi-final! For the league 1 point for bonus is acceptable but I can see us doing this in one of the play off matches and losing it completely, we are far to hit and miss at the moment, Emil and Doyle are even at it this year which is very concerning… I had no confidence in heat 13 or 15 tonight, contrasting from the last few years. The meeting was great to watch though and the parents went and said a good atmosphere as well…another one which should have been on TV to get people enjoying the sport but missed!
