Tonight Adam 3+1 King 0 đyou were saying?
-
King has been our problem tonight, but agree that we canât pull away, only one time was Doyle. Everyone is chasing shadows are the moment.
-
King is having a nightmare meeting. Better get this out of his system for play offs.
-
Canât say you arenât getting your moneyâs worth in this one!
-
Howarth was always going to take out Doyle tonight, I could see it a mile off.
-
Iâm holding my breath and trying not to comment but I hope Brennan actually starts to ride like he did to help these guys take the trophy. Emil and Doyle looking slow which is concerning.
-
My exact same thoughts!
-
Surely something went wrong with Edwardâs bike, such a random crash
-
Something gives me the feeling that we won't be getting near 45 points at NSS again if we return for the play offs, and then it will all rely on Foxhall and depending on the difference, it could be a chaotic meeting.

Problems with SGP

Are you actually reading the whole point of my posts or just choosing to ignore it? I don't care if you like or dislike Ukraine, everyone has a choice. The point is this... Ukraine don't get blocked from speedway but Russia does, but both are equally involved in the politics. Me personally, I believe Russia and Ukraine riders should be in any sport... because politics doesn't have a place in sport, IMO. If it did, then surely Bewley and Lambert should be out of the GP as God knows we love to stick our noses into every 'war' along with USA that goes. -
Anders Thomsen has officially signed his new contract for Stal GorzĂłw 2026. The announcement will take place after the play down match on 31st August, Stal have also dropped the match ticket for the play down to the lowest cost from any Ekstraliga liga 2025 match at 40zĹoty = ÂŁ8. Anders contract doesnât have a relegation clause unlike the one J.Holder has signed. The contract is worth roughly 1 million zloty and 10,000 per point, this is less than this season. Anders wanted more but other clubs were not interested in him when he offered his services so Stal took this as an opportunity to negotiate lower although with their original short list failing of Pawlicki and Drabik they needed to secure someone and Anders has vastly improved this season.

Remember if you want to watch this one live itâs on LionsTV - sign in and the cost is ÂŁ12.99

Problems with SGP

You read all of that and your only take from it was the two houses đ¤Śđź the point is Ukraine people and their government are just as bad as Russia⌠yet they get a free pass into speedway with no issue. Poland is the Meca of speedway letâs be honest and Polish people hate Ukrainians⌠why does the rest of the world not see how they really are? -

I mean the amount of time people keep bringing the issue of it being russia but nobody dares to speak of the issues that Ukraine bring is laughable. Media loves to make everything about Russia but if you actually see the drama Ukraine have brought and more shockingly how disgusting their people treat Poland as a country when they were given free housing, food, cars etc but still attack Polish people, attack Polish traditional, break Polish transport and hold signs at concerts saying âdeath to polesâ but nobody moans when Ukraine are allowed into the speedway World Cup? Media agenda and targeting is a joke, politics in sport and as a whole is a joke, English people moan about these migrates but still think Ukraine is treated unfair. Nobody has been shown on English TV the city that is âwar strickenâ in Ukraine but has now rebuild a brand new super night club with the funding from European money? Google Ibiza club Ukraine and see how fearful they really are this club was on its last legs but then had money from the war poured into it and renovated, itâs all on Polish news but you donât see any of it in England, and be reminded that their president has bought two houses, one in Caribbean and one in Europe with your tax money. -
Iâve heard they are going to chose each riders designated teams by rock, scissors, paper!
-
Ipswich facing Leicester on the first return of Becker is an advantage id say, lions have used RR so brilliantly recently and Becker wonât be full race pace on British soil just yet, this could be the factor we need to win!
-
Just to clarify it was a very well attended meeting, for anyone who didnât attend and just guessing.
-
I would agree that not much passing happened last night or even the meeting before because the track has rode differently recently, but before that, you can't blame the track. When Ipswich have been behind we find away around the outside or inside to get past. It's no fluke that we win buy a good margin at home often, it's also not our fault other teams can't ride our track and make a spectacle of the meeting. We came to Belle Vue and took it to your riders, half the other clubs haven't done that at NSS. Maybe just understand we have a well rounded team who are dialled in at Foxhall and can race other tracks as well, it's not just about being dialled in at home, as you've found out twice this season already. Last night was about 3k crowd. When you think the whole stadium max is about 10k + then it was for sure about a third full.
-
I think when you consider he knows a lot of the Grand Prix riders and tracks a lot he can see the good and bad of speedway and what not to do, he used to ride in Poland so understands their model, and he also runs the club very well⌠I havenât really heard of many if any riders moaning about the club and how itâs run, itâs much the other way round and people really want to ride for the club and to be chosen. I think the fact the crowd is always good and probably the best attended in Britain it brings riders too. Ipswich has always been a town passionate for football and speedway and backs them very good⌠like Louis said, when the football team prospers so does the speedway.

On a different note Doyle got me concerned in his first two outings, I thought his seasons of dramas were catching up to him. Then he wins his next load of races! I do wonder if he was entirely happy with how hard Ellis was riding him in heat 15, couple times he almost had him off! Although Doyle done well to win the race with a punctured rear tyre! đ
-
To be honest I donât go to watch rider mistakes either, can you tell Tate not to ride straight into our air fence next time on his own accord.
-
I genuinely believe Ipswich is more of a community and the surrounding area backs its team, same with football ATM. Manchester is just another overloaded city with probably more to do but also not as dedicated to its local club, obviously some die hards but I mean when you look at population Manchester should be able to draw massive crowds. This isnât a dig at anyone from Manchester by the way! Iâm sure youâll come back with âbecause you have nothing to do apart from farmâ đđđ

Last May bank holiday đ this crowd tonight reminded me of the Manchester Grand Prix, both had temp stands and both got a few thousand đ only Bewley didnât win this one tonight đ
