Nah not really, they know he is the best rider right now and more proud that he is from Gorzów than being sad he wins races. Bigger picture is that Zmarzlik can’t win a meeting on his own so they always have a chance if they fight in the other races.

He would always be fast on his home track. But granted, he does know what to do at the right moments… always!

I don’t think that comment is implacable as he got shut out and was on the receiving end of a 5-1 in his first race.

Nah I’m not saying it was amazing speedway, but I think British speedway and English people are really negative. For one positive post here you’ll see ten negative. It isn’t Polish speedway, we don’t have tracks, riders, stadia, facilities, money etc here in Britain. It is what it is, with the above mentioned and the fact the guesting system is flawed (I was annoyed that Brennan was helping our rivals!) we just have to take whatever we have and try and make it work. All I’m saying is at least we still have speedway, people can be moa about it all they want, but you’ll be moaning more in 10 years when the sport doesn’t exist here, like all things in life, enjoy it whilst it’s here.

On a positive, and not to be horrid to the other riders, but I am slightly happy I didn’t see lambert or Hume in the line up, as harsh as that sounds.

I still believe if we had thompson we could cover RR almost as if Doyle wasn’t there, don’t get me wrong you can’t replace him and you want him at every meeting but to have Thompson as someone you can switch between heats is a game changer the way he rides. My fear is when he returns he isn’t 100%, I remember King struggling when he returned from a hand injury. We need to just take whatever we can and be super patient so we don’t rush them back. Doyle is riding in Manchester though! Good news as long as it isn’t a rush job back again for him!

Not trying to upset everyone here on the forum but I wouldn't say this is the main fan base for speedway, it’s just a voice for a few fans, half the people on here pick and choose meetings and aren’t loyal ‘every week go to support your home club’ fan. FYI I go to every home match at foxhall and try to go to what I can away again… people can decide to go to what they want, this isn’t a dig at anyone, just got to take everyone’s comments on here with a pinch of salt and don’t think this is the same view of the mass people who go to meetings.
