If that is the case and he doesn’t perform very well when travelling I think he might be in the wrong sport! Either that or he will never become a complete rider. When you have GPs to add into the mix others just get on with it. I think he knows he let the club and the fans down by lack of social media last night and today! Thompson has been a shining light for us so often so it was hard to see him so poor last night, I know that Richie said he had an ear infection but all I hear every time we lose is excuses and I’m done with it. If we won (which would could of with a few more points from falls etc) we wouldn’t hear any excuses. The fact you fight all year to get to these matches with some significants and then just don’t turn up is why I went away frustrated. The uproar of emotion in the stadium when Kerr went hard on Thompson was actually probably just as much anger and frustration at our own teams performance and it finally came out of everyone!

I still think Brennan already thinks he has made it now he is in Poland. What’s the crack with before the meeting when they go to practise the starts he first rides round popping wheelies, I hope it’s to do his balance and not to actually practise celebrations because he didn’t even pop one last night after coming last a few times! Rocks up in a tricked out motor like a boss and Emil and Doyle just just a basic ford customs size van and they are the real superstars. Saw them both hop in one van last night with Kvech and they both looked p!ssed off… probably because nobody put in a shift and they almost dragged us into the final. Woke up today and read Hawkins comments, at least he is honest and basically said everyone was sh!t apart from Doyle and Emil. If they go and get 60+ next week vs Birmingham I think it’ll annoy me even more when it doesn’t count to hardly anything.

Anyone who was there would have seen Chris Louis standing over bends one and two before two breaks in the match and then speak to the tractor driver to explain what is needed. I just think some of our riders were way off the pace and we can say it’s the track or the call in heat 14 but end of the day they’ve done us multiple times this season so let’s just admit we’re are not what we once thought we were a few months back. Jenkins wouldn’t have got many more than Edwards so it’s just a very very very poor home performance and the biggest joke it was Hawkins stated on Monday, we have bigger fish to fry on Thursday… that one aged well didn’t it. First time this season I’ve came away from Foxhall genuinely P!ssed off with majority of the team. All these 60-30 wins and you can’t beat your local rival when it matters.

Forget heat 14… there is a bigger issue than this result and it’s the team, some really up and down performances from the team. I wouldn’t even be confident that we would beat Leicester anyway to be honest.

You can score your average and still cost your team the match. He gave up three 5-1s tonight. That’s poor from both of them, not just Brennan. Just because he got 3 points towards his average coming third each time it’s acceptable as far as I’m concerned. You’re better than your teammate who is having a stinker… congrats.

Dan had nowhere to go, there is hard then there is stupid. Kerr was about 5 bike lengths back and just dive bombed and couldn’t stop in time so Dan took avoiding action. We were crap tonight, apart from Doyle and Emil who were the only ones who knew the assignment by the looks of things! They must be pissed off with the likes of Brennan and Ellis, again we are relying on Emil and Doyle when the whole point was to have a strong ‘team’. Trust a bloody Sheffield rider to ride dirty against Ipswich and take us out! Although saying that, in heat 3 Lawson literally shoulder barged Brennan out of the way when Brennan had more speed and went on the overtake on the back straight. No excuses though, sh!t show from Ipswich from all riders but Emil and Doyle IMO. Hawkins need to have a conversation of a ‘reality check’ if they think we are winning the title like this. It’s boarder like embarrassing losing so many times this season to Lynn and Ellis and Brennan have been the culprits in most of them. The final doesn’t consist of the top three league teams… work that one out haha.

People probably can't be bothered to travel when the meeting goes over 2 hours and people have to drive another 1.5 / 2hrs home. I am disappointed that we have a Derby Day semi-final match tomorrow and anywhere you go in the town you wouldn't have a clue. I just don't understand why flyers and posters can't be displayed. They rely on word of mouth or the same people coming back but no new customers, it's ridiculous really. Anyone who lives in Ipswich would know what I mean when I say the advertising of 'Festival of Wheels' is all over the place, why can't speedway even do 25% of that advertising. So lazy.

Would have rather seen Belle Vue or Lynn match on the TV last night as this one was a boring watch. Nothing to do with the riders but track was just gate, rung to the dirt, fly into the distance.

We aren’t winning this league, every week I’m slowly losing more and more confidence. We have to hope to whip people at foxhall and if we don’t we will get knocked out at whatever stage it is. Ellis is deffo well off it and our engine room isn’t as strong away from home that’s for sure. First year Emil came him and Doyle were carrying the team, it’s almost starting to turn to Thompson carrying us which is ridiculous really.

Poor from us. I didn’t make the journey due to getting back late from work but seems like a blessing now. Losing more than once away from home to your derby isn’t acceptable and I feel for anyone who travelled. We had a good enough team to do damage… we are still up and down and not consistent enough away from home.
