Yes, if we had king and Doyle I think we may be too strong for brum, but without them we may struggle. Brum are a good team and the league showing little points makes them look like it should be a walk over is what I was getting at. Rew has been hot and cold. Thompson pulls off one of his top meetings and we should win.

As a Witches fan it was amazing having Tom riding for us Thursday but I’m concerned he may put in another performance like that against us and do some major damage in Doyle absence! Birmingham have a strong side and I don’t think the league shows their true ability. Shame we can’t get our full team together even when King is back due to Doyle injury!

Witnessed the major crash at Kings Lynn on Thursday night. Looked a nasty one and landing on concrete can’t be ideal! He has fractured his ribs and injured his shoulder so I think realistically he will be aiming for Gorzów Grand Prix as his next time out. Certainly hoping for a faster recovery though as a Witches fan!

Danny is a good retention. I think our weak links were Hume and Riss last year and if we can keep Emil and get another new rider plus Dan Thompson we could be in for a great season!

Now that Sheffield have completed their squad I hope to see witches start to put together our team. Emil and Doyle would bring the crowds but we need to start backing them up and not relying on heat 13/15 with the big boys to win the meeting.
