Honestly it all depends if Kurtz comes off in gorzow then misses the next meeting for Belle Vue đ
-
One moment, this wall is talking to me.
-
1. What matches have you watched in Poland with 20,000 in a stadium in the league? Barr none. 2. What are the clear consequences you speak of? Lots of teams fail in the league and they keep the riders and riders still demand top money in the contracts. People need to stop acting like riders are scared to make a mistake in Poland or theyâll lose their money or job. Polish media stated riders are overpaid and have more power than the teams in recent years and the finances of Polish ĹźuĹźel need to be looked at.

Bewley next on the injury list!
-
I need to ask. Do Belle Vue fans actually think they are nailed on for play offs? Because watching tonight and also kings Lynn new found form I think you need to be slightly worried youâll be finishing the league commitments early and only watching your beloved bewley and Kurtz on TV in the SGPs!
-
Kurtz got injured. Come back and then bailed again. Doyle got injured. Come back. And then rode for Ipswich after. Notice any difference in the above statements? He didnât do the same did he.
-
Won it or given it on a plate? I think if Kurtz and bewley got injured like Emil and Doyle Belle Vue would come bottom of the league. They look woeful this season away from home too. At this point if Kurtz rides for Belle Vue this season he will be classed as a guest
-
Itâs down to the discretion of the club and also I believe a percent of rides they partake in. I donât think they are under quite as much pressure as people would make you believe on this forum. Doyle was under no pressure to come back, I assume the pressure would rack up if they are into the playoff stages though. Emil was not pressured into riding last season when he got injured in the playoffs period but he chose to. People keep missing the point Iâm making. Nothing about missing the British league or Polish league, if youâre injured then fair enough, but donât then enter an individual contest for your own benefit. Looks like Belle Vue are struggling tonight without him.

2025: Kurtz crashes in Manchester SGP He injuries his old injury from one week before. He continue in the meeting and comes second like a true determined rider would. Kurtz pulls out of Belle Vueâs next meeting. He obviously isnât that same breed you speak of.

Dudek to win! Home track advantage and he is flying! Running in a Thursday and no âtop ridersâ missing from British speedway⌠so it can be done.
-
Whether they have or not you said they do. When I gave you an example that they didnât for the gorzow vs Lublin restaging so it doesnât affect British speedway that much. I never said Britain has an influence, I only stated Kurtz shouldnât be riding this weekend if it isnât 100%.
-
Restagings of Ekstraliga meetings are not Thursdays and Britian didnât give up Thursday nights, they said Poland could run a few times and have priority on those nights but not all Thursdays. Gorzow rode their restaging vs Lublin on a Tuesday the other week.
-
Great post that contradicts itself eh? âworld champion would be his number 1 priority given the circumstances ie injuryâ then proceeds to state â prioritise the risk aversion no matter what club or countryâ so then he shouldnât be riding in the SGP as the priority is to be fit? Or is it to be world champion⌠Iâm confused!
-
Maybe Leicester and Lynn get third and fourth in the league because of it.
-
If Belle Vue fans arenât bothered and are happy for him to miss the meeting then everyone elseâs opinion doesnât really matter I suppose. For me, it is his decision and if he isnât ready or fit then it is what it is, but if he isnât 100% then he should miss the SGP as well, itâs the same feeling I had for our rider in Doyley, shouldnât have rode x2 SGPs. Priority should be full fitness, that was the reason for my first post about this. Until youâre 100% you shouldnât ride British, Polish or SGP. If Wroclaw arenât pushing him to be back for there meeting then we know for sure he isnât 100% and SGP is something that could push his progress further back, however if he rides for Wroclaw then he has chosen to miss Belle Vue. Thatâs IMO.
-
If he rides in SGP thatâs for sure pick and choose. Bet he rides for Wroclaw at the weekend and shows the commitment for British speedway everyone seems too by not showing up and prioritising.
-
Bank holiday Monday witches vs Lynn was best atmosphere Iâve heard when we finally got the win and everyone actually got up and cheered. To me, sport is at its finest when you have emotion and your team and your fans are as one. Youâll never get it, but the fans at Portman rd singing their heart out, all you need is 50 of them to give something different. Iâm going to Gorzow vs Wroclaw after the SGP as Iâm in Poland to see family, I canât wait to hear the singing and the scarfs flying. It makes me feel invested in the meeting.

Yes and Kurtz got up and rode two more heats. So he wasnât unfit to ride was he. He might end up turning into a B.Cook if he pick and chooses what race to turn up to but always appears at the SGP. This is the problem with British speedway, no loyalty for the clubs. People can say âhe needs to prioritise his SGP for his success and futureâ well do it then. And hopefully get dropped by the whole reason youâre even in the SGPâŚbecause clubs actually gave you a chance to learn your trade⌠so pay them back in loyalty!

You can say you want to bring in technology in regards to apps all you want but you need youngsters in the stadium first. My god people barely get up and clap a 5â1 at foxhall and itâs a sorry sight when half of them that would try would end up like doyley and out of action every other week with an injury! People get hooked on these programme but I go to watch the racing then quickly whip out the phone on the track grades and load up sportowefakty to look at live scores then get back to watching the meeting and celebrating when we get a 5-1, not grabbing a pen and noting down the score. Each to their own I guess, but a young crowd arenât into that type of thing. If they have to focus on writing scores down they wonât bother and straight away get disinterested. Is it that much of a cost for witches to use the Electric Board on bend 3/4 to show scores and riders ?

At that point he hasnât returned from injury though, same as Kurtz. But they both returned over the weekend and Doyle still tried on Monday, I guess your comment is flawed.

SGP Gorzow 2025
ShanoXtra replied to aarongaleuk's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I'm heading over for this one, seeing the family and spending some time in Gorzow, still a lot of tickets for sale. How Stal have underwhelmed this season with the issues I've previously mentioned on other threads is shown by the amount of locals buying into this, hopefully the stadium is full for Saturday. Also given how long the decision was made when to put the tickets on sale due to the new sales team and delaying the release of sales for tickets has hit hard, I assume people looked at the start of the season where to go and earmarked their interests but with Stal not showing even confidence of restarting the 2025 season at the back end of this year it has been somewhere people would probably be put off due to the uncertainty. On a positive note for Stal, one fourth of the SGP line up, 4 out of 16 to anyone who lacks mathematics, is represented by the home team, Lebedevs, Vaculik, Thomsen and Paluch. This should give the Gorzow faithful something to cheer for after a poor season. Although the favourite will undoubtedly be the home boy Zmarzlik. -
No you missed my point, I said he shouldnât have even turned up at the weekend. I.e shouldnât have rode at SGP, was clear to see he wasnât ready, what has an extra 3/4 points gained him in the series honestly over 2 GPs, Iâd say itâs worked against him because he then had to ride last night which wasnât the right call and again probably on the back foot for GorzĂłw due to aggravating his injury.
