  1. Obviously im all for Gorzów it being my partners home city, but by the sounds of it, if they can stay in the league they can open up funds and build a solid team next year and come out swinging… that’s my hope anyway!
  2. Very interesting listening to my partner translate the studio conversation back to English. They said “this is why every young rider needs to ride in Britain, Lampart rode overseas for a while and learnt how to ride the type of track we have tonight and he is flying, you need to adapt and learn as much as possible whilst young”.
  3. Doesn’t really matter too much, it’s more of a problem for Wroclaw. Bottom four have to go to a play down so whether you’re 5th or 8th you could get relegated. Wroclaw need top 4 to try and win the league. Today in Gorzów good news for the club. As long as they stay in the Ekstraliga they will keep Anders, Vaculik will go the Lublin but Jack holder will go to Gorzów. Financially they are now in very good position with sponsors, they are just blocked from spending money this season hence the poor team. Rumours Tungate will go to Stał also next season.
  4. I assume that’s the difference from racing for £1000 a points vs £100 a point. Never have the dedication here that they have there. I think Polish teams run the show there, riders run the show here because they are needed so desperately.
  5. Because he laid and then failed to try and move his bike and just walked straight back to the middle of the arena and then to the pits so he wasn’t injured nor did he try to remove the bike from the track whilst the race was still in play. This was classed as a tactical decision to stop the race.
  6. Commentator's laughing that people in the pits with Polish passports not happy but British passports are happy due to this being normal weather in England
  7. Your complete lack of intelligence to read what I wrote before you replied is amusing. Firstly, I wrote " Can't they move NSS more central in England its more accessible for all fans of speedway", in case you are not aware England is different to GB, and Manchester certainly isn't central in England. Secondly, I wrote " I would have made the journey on Friday but from Ipswich its a long way on a weekday. " I couldn't get tickets for the Sat in Manchester and Cardiff was on a Saturday as well, so once again, driving 200+ miles when you finish work at 16:30 isn't feasible is it. I'll let you dwell on your poor comment and hopefully you learn from your mistakes and read what I write next time. Other than that, great post!
  8. Shame how many people get to lose out watching a Grand Prix in UK now its not at Cardiff. Surprised to see lots of seats available in the temp stand on the Friday. NSS with the temp stand holds 6500 x2 nights 13,000. Cardiff last year got north of 20,00 right? Totally accept Belle Vue only wanted the Sat night and done Friday more of a favour by the sounds of it. If it wasn't such a drive I would have made the journey on Friday but from Ipswich its a long way on a weekday. Just hopeful that better racing will occur at NSS than the temp track at Cardiff. Can't they move NSS more central in England its more accessible for all fans of speedway
  9. Shame it wasn’t a final tonight with TNT there. I seem to remember when I visited for the prem final a few years back with Ipswich they managed to push that one ahead fine when the heavens opened
  10. Ipswich showing why they called it early. Sheffield causing everyone to turn up only to be turned away.
  11. Top man !!!! I wasn't even aware that BSN were streaming tonight, hopefully it might put a bit more pressure on the meeting going ahead then.
  12. Good effort by Leicester to pull such a lead on the tigers but its deffo all to play for when you normally think of J. Holder and Picko picking up almost maxes for both riders. It'll be the battle of the reserves that could swing it I think. Good luck to both sides, hope if it goes ahead everyone gets to watch a good meeting! Shame Sheffield don't live stream as I would have paid to watch this one as I can't go to Foxhall tonight.
  13. Rain due between 19:30 - 20:30 so correct call if weather forecast is anything to go by.
  14. It has been continuously raining on the stadium this morning and still drizzling now. I think the call was the right one, even if they re-run the match without Doyle and Thompson it would be better on a drier day than this to go and watch.
