Ipswich v Belle Vue 27th March KOC 2nd leg
ShanoXtra replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Mark Lemmon just can’t handle Belle vue got battered… by IpSH!T! Brilliant night, good turn out in crowd numbers and the boys produced. Personally I don’t rate bloedorn, Z cook or Lidsey as a good enough to win you a title. Not trying to sound harsh but I think Kings Lynn are a better side than Belle vue this season and will give us more problems. I’d say top four are us, Sheffield, Lynn and maybe Belle vue? Leicester might want a say in that. If Bewley and Kurtz have off nights you aren’t winning any meetings. Also like to point out now we have upgraded the track and beaten the current champions by a battering, what are people going to use as an excuse now -
Belle Vue v Ipswich March 24th KOC
ShanoXtra replied to Aries's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
You’ll miss the trophy being presented for the cup this year that’s for sure :)! Aces weren’t bad, just Ipswich were better Doyle and Emil well off it so when they get warmed up you will be in trouble ! -
Belle Vue v Ipswich March 24th KOC
ShanoXtra replied to Aries's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Great result for the whole team, Doyle and Emil must be happy that the pressure is slightly off them to constantly get double figures. All teams will have highs and lows so I won’t get too excited. Kings Lynn are a dark horse IMO and I can’t wait for the derby days! I expected a bigger crowd at Belle vue watching on TV, interesting to see what Ipswich gets at home, I am aware England played so maybe some watched football instead on TV. Anyway… speedway won last night! Great races and really good passing. Good luck all teams for a great season! -
Yeah I was thinking the same. I hope either doesn’t get pushed aside and forgotten about.

Cardiff GP 2025 Cancelled
ShanoXtra replied to Phil's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Nice rant but Gorzow and Torun both have roofs. And yes, i'm aware Torun isn't in the GP this year! -
Cardiff GP 2025 Cancelled

Well Belle Vue need to learn their lesson from overpriced temp stands on their last outing. It is easier for Polish fans to travel via Manchester airport correct, but Polish fans won't pay £60+ for this event. They have premium stands and multiple SGPs in Poland, Cardiff was an experience, Belle Vue isn't. I went with my Polish GF to both SON Belle Vue and Cardiff last year. The difference in her experience was telling, indoors was amazing and a nice city to walk around, Manchester, well... -
And you got a cup match in it. So that makes the 13th meeting.
-
I’d be paying to watch all the team as I want to win the league and not selected heats. Each to their own I guess!

Wolves Speedway potential new stadium???
ShanoXtra replied to Pauldoveyspeedway's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Norwich could tear up Carrow Rd and put a speedway track in it. You’d see more entertainment that way! -
2026 looking decent. I think this is going to be King’s last season. Rew will be back as he is loaned out to Birmingham for 2025 so we could get Brennan on the pre tense that he comes back for 2026 and replaces King. Ipswich offering scholarship to whoever wins the under 19s event at foxhall… all set up for Will Cairns!
-
Rew decided to leave. He said that he will “see you soon” when I spoke to him and no bridges are burnt so I expect him at some point to return to Ipswich.
-
That went down like a lead balloon haha
-
I remember Doyle and Emil sending the Belle Vue faithful home silent in heat 15 semi-final in 2023. That was brilliant. All the Aces getting hyped after heat 13 getting a 5-1 but our boys turned it around. So you do have something to fear.
-
Ipswich vs Belle Vue in the knock out cup!!! That will be a tasty one for a quarter final! I believe Rew is riding in Britain next year also.
-
Yup, he also alluded to other clubs wanting him for next year but it was a ‘no brainer’ to stay at Ipswich. I’ll stand by my correction of being right
-
Should do that to Wroclaw then watch Laguta get dropped worry about Ekstraliga and Lublin nailing everyone due to money, not British speedway haha
-
It’s a shame for everyone else that Doyle and Emil have no interest in riding for any other team. Keep dreaming Ipswich ain’t going nowhere but to the top step. Just hope we nail Sheffield in every match we meet them in.
-
Reserved not too shabby 👀 it’s the best reserve pair in the prem I’d say… top notch!
-
Like I stated before, with Ipswich naming the team before the AGM and too many people saying they will have to change it or they won’t name the full team: Too many ‘experts’ on here I guess Ipswich wouldn’t officially name a team that would be unsure of. Up the town!!!! It’s a good few days to be Ipswich!
-
Last year it rolled over until Monday and Tuesday too. People reading way too much into this points system. Ipswich are the most professional club in the league and you think they wouldn’t get their points tally right and have to change it in a week? Clever management again by getting people talking about the sport and the club.
-
Doesn’t say anything about Rew? I only keep tabs with English and polish league due to witches and Gorzów. That website isn’t up to date as Gorzów team is complete apart from one. And the team manager and president is different.
-
Where would he go though? Already riding in Poland again (not with Leszno) so I guess Sweden or Denmark? I’m totally out of sync with the other two leagues as I only keep tracks of England and Poland
-
It’ll be that moment when Rew rides against the Witches at foxhall and gets the better of King… cor I can image the uproar now!!
-
Now I would say it’s more likely than ever that the class of 24 are back for 25. Doyle is always going to sign of Ipswich, he likes every post on witches instagram and lives in an easy travelling distance it just makes sense for him, much like Emil, they are both wanting to win the league with Ipswich. Brennan or rew, either i don’t mind, although rew was doing amazing last year and to invest time and effort into someone for them to go to another team potentially and prosper is slightly disappointing.
-
His comments read that everyone wanted to come back, but Dan’s yesterday hinting that no everyone is coming back. Tomorrow will be an interesting one… maybe Doyle, and keep the interest in thinking who is being changed for Monday morning? They never announce over the weekend so it’ll be 6 by Friday. My bet is Ellis makes way for Brennan as he was the latest edition.
