  1. Pressure from Częstochowa I’m sure which is seeing him return in a few minutes to ride tonight. I’m sure another week or so would have done him good. As long as he doesn’t come out with any longer term injuries by coming back to soon, obviously the amount of money he can earn per point I’m sure is luring him back as well.
  2. Question. How can a picture show if people were using the outside line? That’s the dumbest thing I’ve seen for a while… I was there and Ellis and howarth used the outside pretty well to pass people I’d say! But then again, I might be wrong because you can see a photo of one corner so who knows ?
  3. Don’t shoot the messenger, but this in Poland today: However, everything indicates that Jason Doyle will return to competition sooner than expected. On Thursday evening on the X service, Eurosport commentator Michał Korościel reported that it is almost certain that the Australian will start in the upcoming round of the Speedway Grand Prix. It will take place on May 31 on the track in Prague. It will be exactly two weeks since Doyle's fall in Warsaw, which is full of admiration.
  4. There wasn’t a blue groove, just lions were better full stop. They gated better and we couldn’t cope, Ellis made the pass of the night and howarth did something similar so the outside was working but people were overcooking it and losing speed on the exit of bend 4. Brennan wasn’t on it tonight and Hume could never fill Thompsons void. Thompson is a bigger miss than Doyle as this point in the league IMO. He beats his opposite number by a large margin and can take on some of the big boys, with Thompson we could have covered RR a lot better.
  5. I get what you mean, but for me it’s all about finishing as high as possible, I don’t wanna be travelling up to Sheffield or Belle Vue in the final last leg, you want to hold the trophy with your home fans and celebrate in Foxhall!
  6. It might be an old promo poster but he is still in the line up and he posted in the day he flew back to England (Tuesday) which would show he is promoting it still. And Rew posted the same poster yesterday (Wed) with Doyle listed as riding. I’m not saying he will ride, but knowing him, he won’t want to be on the side lines long as this is his last chance for SGP and Manchester is a week after the test match, maybe he is hoping to still ride in it? Who knows, only thought I’d share the info… I’m not saying he is or isn’t riding in it.
  7. Interesting that Doyle still is promoting the Poland Vs Rest of World meeting on 7th of June on his social media and he is still registered to take rides in it…
  8. Take a bow Jenkins! Great evening. Well done lads, hard fought match, got the points and onto the next.
  9. Jenkins racking up the points but all the boys showing spirit and determination! Great to see the heads haven’t gone down due to the injuries!
  10. I’d guess Doyle would be aiming for Malilla GP as a realistic target, giving him about 4 or 5 rounds left to try and get a top 6 finish.
  11. This one might not have aged well! I don’t know anything about the crash so hopefully he isn’t too beaten up by it!
  12. That might be a bonus, they could postpone the meeting if it did pour!
  13. If I were a betting man I’d say tomorrow is Birmingham’s first win of the season !
  14. That’s fair and I respect that, this forum is for everyone’s opinion, I’d never say who is right or wrong, just put my opinion on here that’s all.
  15. https://youtube.com/shorts/mAq2sBstbzY?si=c6fhvNgSzWJxKacP
  16. He was on gate one and by the half way point of bend two was next to the air fence. He deffo drifted wide…even lambert had to cut back and ruin his race if it wasn’t re run.
  17. From the stadium in our section it looked like Doyle got the speed after gating and went to get over fricke but fricke drifted wide and Doyle took avoiding action. If he hasn’t had moved they would have both gone down. If Doyle got past then lambert was next to be a victim of how wide fricke was going. Don’t really know if it’s a blame game or just very unfortunate riding incident. Again, only my opinion!
  18. They announced a possible broken leg over the tannoy in the stadium in Polish so calm your horses.
  19. You’d be surprised how many Polish fans had programme and filling them in! I couldn’t believe… I thought I’d just enjoy the meeting and after each 4 heats check on the phone who’s leading!
  20. The reason why people love him, is the same reason he is involved in so many incidents… he gives all or nothing and only goes out to win, many riders say it, but many riders back out of 50/50s… he really is on the track to win and take all risks in doing so!
  21. I agree to an extent. Sitting in G21 Green (bend two upper) you could see how the first 8 heats were poor and only inside was working. The racing got better after heats 12 with the outside working more. I said to my partner who is polish that it’s only about Zmarzlik in Poland, if he rides well then everyone is happy, but dead crowd when someone else wins (unless Polish but still not as loud). They don’t even clap whoever else wins… I don’t mind Zmarzlik, but was happy Dudek was the best pole tonight! Deffo didn’t want Holder to win but such is life! The laser show / fireworks were the best I’ve seen for an indoor event haha if that counts for anything! Doyle will be done for the season I assume, unless he makes it back for play offs. He won’t get another wild card to SGP 2026 though. This could be him done for SGP. Częstochowa already stated they can’t replace Doyle due to him not being classified last season, so they will be arguing probably about money just like Grudziądz so not great for him even when he recovers. I’m so gutted for him! Ipswich won’t replace him, same as last year, who do you get? It’ll be RR and maybe guests (Scotty) at home. 2024 curse has started already people!
