  1. Me neither and the powers that be wonder why the sport is struggling. At least United match in on live.
  2. Exactly he would be nowhere near the title no matter how many rounds were held. Never heard riders moaning about it being at Coventry every year, was always a great meeting there but look at the differnce in quality compared to today.
  3. Ive always found coming out by what used to be the flouch pub cuts out the nightmare of Mottram, going home after the meeting you should be ok with your regular route.
  4. Come along the Stocksbridge by pass and through Holmfirth, Mossley i always go this way never had a traffic problem better than snake and woodhead.
  5. Lets not forget our other two injured riders that were out as well. maybe we should field a 4 man team in this years play offs
  6. Why did Morris not give a urine sample? Unless of course he knew he had taken something that would show up, is he on any medication? If so as in the case of Kyle Howarth he would surely have been vindicated?
  7. Galling to get so close, two poor rides by Woffinden looking like the turning point for us.
  8. Would have picked Kurtz over C Holder, Darcy influence there?
  9. Would he have even got in a position to get passed? Unsure about that.
  10. We are lacking that fourth rider to support the top 3, dont think we could have picked anyone else who could really mix it in this company so blooding a young rider for the future makes sense in the circumstances.
  11. Tom was never going to trouble the scorers tonight, good experiance for him though.
  12. Reality check for Australia so far, poles are now starting to fire Janowski still struggling though, got to fancy the poles on home shale but GB looking good so far for at least silver.
  13. Imagine someone new to speedway deciding to tune into this to check out the sport? Complete borefest, empty stands, super slick track, follow my leader, terrible televised meetings can damage as well as promote the sport.
  14. I agree with your comments but the meeting at Poole was the equivilant of tomorrows final wasnt it? I would expect much better tomorrow racing and crowd wise
  15. Considering Sheffield have stated they have no more dates available will be interesting to see if there are another two or three rain offs, will they suddenly find dates or not complete their matches?
  16. Totally agree he has been disappointing in an Aces jacket considering his form in Poland and the GP,s, i would be surpised if he rode over here next season, i just get the feeling he regrets returning, Max is doing a better job for Leicester. Brady has been our best rider for the past couple of seasons.
  17. Saw many a meeting with sawdust down and riders racing through the conditions with billowing boilersuits lol, i remember going down to Wimbledon in conditions that would create an early call off today, down went the sawdust and we got through the meeting rain and all, and it was a decent meeting.
  18. I remember when ice hockey started in the arena, Manchester had the biggest crowds by far normally between 12,000- 20,000, i was talking about this with John Perrin and he said it wont last, the majority of the crowd are there thanks to free tickets to promotes the sport, a couple of seasons later the free ticket scheme was pulled and the club went bust as it wasnt viable, after a few years they did reform but at Altrincham ice rink with an average attendance of around 1,400.
  19. Despite all the other problems that has dragged the sport to where it is the fact that a three time world champion took no interest in supporting his home countrys league cannot be denied. Jason Doyle has been far more loyal to this country and only missed riding here when Swindon didnt run, Anyway as long as Belle Vue dont sign him, que así sea.
  20. Arent clubs in Sweden also struggling due to employing GP riders in their sides on crowds that are even worse than here when you look at their publicised figures?
