  1. Why can't people wait? British Speedway is currently in a better place for '26 than it looked a few weeks back. We know there will be a Premiership, we already have riders confirmed. We know there will be a Championship, with some teams having already announced their full line-ups. IMO 'parlous' is going too far. Too may on here seem to feel they have a right to know information immediately, and are still being negative even though their teams will actually be racing in '26. It comes across as incredibly ungrateful, this from a person that hasn't watched his team compete competitively for 20 years. I'd love to be able to regularly watch my team.
  2. Are people that entitled and feel that privileged that they HAVE to know something immediately? I know how it feels for your team not to come to tapes so spare me that line...
  3. The meeting only happened yesterday and yet so many are complaining that no information has been released yet. Unfortunately we live in an age where you can find out anything on your phone within seconds and people now think that applies to everything in life. FFS, nobody has any patience anymore. Given how important the meeting was it's going to take a little while to collate everything together. When they want you to know what happened, then you'll find out.
  4. You do realise you can think that the sport is in trouble, needs new direction but can also be positive about it at the same time, rather than continually talking it down?!!
  5. Absolutely would. Wouldn’t have any issue doing that whatsoever.
  6. Went last year and it was a mega couple of nights, especially the Friday. And it was also my first time at the NSS and it didn't disappoint. Gutted I cannot make this year as I'm already booked up for the Isle of Man TT Races. Very unhappy with the date clash with SGP being a week earlier in '26.
  7. Unbelievable that people have already been sucked into his blatant lies in Speedway Star about how “nobody was at home during these crimes.” Absolute bullsh*t. He pleaded guilty to exactly what he was charged with, which was robbing the elderly at knife point IN THEIR HOMES. One of those was an elderly lady on a mobility scooter who he followed home. Great start by someone who wants forgiveness…lying about your crimes.
  8. He had the chance before and blew it. Including when he stole other riders possessions from changing rooms. Leopards don’t normally change their spots and he will prove this once again. Anyone who takes him on has got to be desperate.
  9. Absolute lying scumbag. Vile piece of sh*t. Any team taking him on deserves all they will inevitably get.
  10. If the Premiership goes so does British Speedway inside five years, if not sooner. We need it to survive. Consolidation is what’s needed in the short term to try and build for the future.
  11. Nothing will make up for what he did. Workington fans should have been refunded out of his own pocket. He’s lucky he wasn’t fired on the spot.
  12. Behaved like the pro he is?!!! His disgraceful performance at Scunthorpe in May was the complete opposite of being a pro!!!
  13. Jason Doyle confirms on social media he is sitting out the UK in '26.
  14. Great vid. Great looking team. Will be at the sharp end, no doubt. Looking forward to seeing Pedersen and Hausl flying around Ashfield.
  15. Quite a few on here keep mentioning Beau Bailey. He's already signed a contract in Denmark who race on Wednesdays. And Cooper Rushen seems to have signed an Oxford contract...just depends if it's Cheetahs or Chargers.
  16. According to this week's Speedway Star, there is a real possibility that the Eagles won't return in '26 due to major doubts over the delay of a new lease deal with the Iwade landlords.
  17. In a recent interview with Speedway Star he said he wants to return.
  18. Or Swindon are using Sandy Lane in ‘26?
