  1. In 2004 Mildenhall rode 41 NDL fixtures. The maximum this year is ten.
  2. And I see covers were used. Aren't we being constantly told by forum "experts" that these are the solution?
  3. Full fixtures are here: https://britishspeedway.co.uk/2024-ndlrc-series/ You might notice there appear to be a few missing
  4. And there must be some examples of double headers where riders have had 13 or 14 races in a meeting.
  5. There isn't but Oxford deployed a tac sub on ht 9 for Cook in yellow) and both Riss and Tungate came out in yellow!
  6. What about the new "double tac sub" rule might have livened things up.
  7. In theory yes, but reception at the ticket office is poor and they often struggle to process card payments. Take cash.
  8. He has an established match average - but so did Janowski. When is it too old to count? So it will either be 9.29 or 8.00 like Janowski. Don't you just love the way the regulations give clarity?
  9. Last I heard was that he wanted to come but couldn't get a visa
  10. Fantastic match, with some superb racing, Workington really is a great track. But given my Oxford allegiance more than a little bit miffed by that ht 4 decision.
  11. Well it is considerably more plausible than the Americans claim to have invented baseball
  12. He's still improving and riding far better than last year. Remember he's racing stiffer opposition. Beat Mountain on Wednesday, Knudsen and Toft (both from the back in back to back races) the previous week and of course there was that race win at Ipswich against Jason Doyle
  13. 6th in Ekstraliga Aves above: Madsen, Bewley, Kubera, Vaculik, Sayfutdinov, Holder J, Lindgren
  14. All scored from reserve as that was the previous version of 'Rising Stars' but the riders stayed at reserve all year and faced 6 fellow reserves and just two second strings in their programmed rides.
  15. Didn't seem to be a problem in 2015 Meetings: All meetings, Home and away Bonus points: Included Averages: All riders Rider M R Pts BP Tot Av no BP Av inc BP Darcy Ward 10 50 116 14 130 9.28 10.40 Maciej Janowski 29 130 280 25 305 8.62 9.38 Jason Doyle 29 145 327 10 337 9.02 9.30 Niels-Kristian Iversen 28 140 307 11 318 8.77 9.09 Kyle Newman 31 137 242 46 288 7.07 8.41 Andreas Jonsson 20 101 198 14 212 7.84 8.40 Chris Harris 31 151 270 43 313 7.15 8.29 Rory Schlein 12 55 100 12 112 7.27 8.15 Jason Garrity 30 140 248 35 283 7.09 8.09 Matej Zagar 26 118 223 14 237 7.56 8.03 Scott Nicholls 32 149 266 29 295 7.14 7.92
  16. Janowski is certainly 'magic' the way he makes 3 points disappear off his average.
  17. Both former Reading Racers too
  18. Prem: reasonable Champ: a little disappointing NDL: spectacularly good
  19. Although he did have an EF while leading; but it's fair to say he didn't impress.
  20. No, but would you sign a rider who could only manage one competitive ride?
  21. He was very poor, even when he got a second he was coasting round. I would caution against assuming he'll be fit for regular racing in the near future.
  22. I wasn't expecting the interval interview with ... Alan Molyneux
  23. Agreed. He's a shoe in for Finland, but has to compete withThorsell, Lindack and Nilsson as a Swede and I suspect it'll be one Swede and one Brit (Brennan?) rather than two Swedes.
