  1. Was that Tatum's most fatuous comment yet? Camera focuses on two supporters with German flags on their face, covered in Gustrow badges and wearing Gustrow colours .... and says " the Australian contingent there"
  2. 6 Oct and 29 March respectively
  3. Anyone for a FIVE rider run-off for third [If Bailey beats Jamil in ht 20]
  4. The point is that most teams would not do it for their second heat leader, particularly one as str9ng as Doyle who is completely wasted in ht 8
  5. https://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/19094/nice-challenge-isle-wight-2019
  6. But to be fair he did end up a slightly better rider than Suchanek
  7. Probably not. BUT the longer all alternative options are closed off to them, the more likely the presence of a willing and credible purchaser will mean it becomes their least worst option
  8. Long breaks, inevitable result. Complete lack of atmosphere [there's only so much Hayley and Chase the Ace can do]. But at least we had some class action on track
  9. I've never been overly impressed by Sam Hagon, but having see the way he flew past Rowe, Zac Cook and Tobias Thomsen on Saturday and the way he came back from a poor start on Sunday [which speaks to his mental strength] I am rapidly upgrading my view of him.
  10. It is totally unrealistic to expect bigger attendances for NDL matches. The equivalent competitions in Denmark, Sweden often pull in double figure crowds and Poland isn't much better. Other sports have very little fan interest in reserve and youth teams. Why should speedway be so different?
  11. It's been the rule for nearly 3 decades. David Howe came 5th in 1997 as a 15 year old
  12. So is there no parking tonight? If so nothing about it on Berwick website. Where should one park then? [As I'm sprinting up from Redcar's NDL match there us no way I'll be there B4 6.45pm]
  13. A great way to encourage and motivate your new signing. He's already made one guest appearance - beating Dec Kennedy [current av >5] fair and square - and comparing his NDL/T scores with the likes of Wood, Perry, Hodder and Spencer suggest he should exceed his 2pt assessed average.
  14. In the absence of any data I would suggest the totals for the two tracks are quite similar and a case could be made for both of them. But they are both definitely well ahead of any other track.
  15. Ritchings 2016 GSA was indeed 3.00. His scores: 34 rides, 16 points. So he received the then minimum assessment of 3.00. Given the antiquity of the average, reassessment of his NDL figure and the dropping of the minimum average, 2.00 seems appropriate.
  16. Perhaps because Foord is next in line from the semi final. [Any more drop-outs and Ablitt is next]
  17. Rye House v Eastbourne 4 May 2015 http://www.gbspeedway.com/2015/meeting.php?mc1=x&mc2=f&mc3=x&mc4=Rye House Raiders&comp=NT&meeting=823
  18. Saw one at Rye House about 15 years ago [or rather couldn't see it because of the dust] Edit: it was 4 May 2015 v Eastbourne (second half of a bank holiday double header)
  19. And if they do they win the group, which leaves Redcar as second best runner-up behind Poole. So yes Poole are 100% through
  20. If that was the case surely Killeen would have had a fourth ride at Brum on Monday and not been replaced by 38 year old Craig Cook.
