One of many things that made 2021's visits to Redcar amongst the season's most enjoyable. -

Is this Lions record win? Biggest win I can find in the Beaumont Park era is 63-27 (twice last season v Brum & Newc.) -

He's in declared 7 on BSPL website. -
Well technically Newman is the third heat leader.
-
Are now on BSPL website Some points of interest. Adam Ellis is not in Brummies named 7, but Ben Morley is Plymouth have no team at all Newcastle are nearly 3 points below limit with Complin reassessed at 4.00 Paco Castagna, Kyle Newman and James Shanes are heat leaders Chris Allen is Berwick new no 1 - an unexpected signing
-
But both sets of fixtures are already published. There are currently 7 clashes, more if Birmingham have any rain-offs. Incidentally if there are no rain-offs the Brummie's season appears to end in July!!
-
I expect his Danish league appearances from last season (for Fjelsted) will be ignored as they were Div 2 (similar level to NDL), so 4.00 would be my expectation.

2022 Regulations - New Super Heat after Draw!!
arnieg replied to Roger Jacobs's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
You might think so, but the rule specifically says not. -
Not a problem as long as the inclusion of NKI keeps Lynn below the overall points limit. NKI is 7.54 PK is 7.10

Swedes are looking very short of top names with Lindback out and Ljung on the decline. Pontus Aspgren is clearly no 2 in current Swedish rankings, after that you've got riders like Nilsson, Thorssell, Berntzon who've been around for many years. A lot is resting on Philip Hellstrom-Bangs for Sweden's GP future.
-
All I could find for 2021 were 8 meetings back in Denmark, mainly in Div 1 (Danish second tier) against the likes of Tobias Thomsen and Nick Agertoft.
-
My view on Pearson too. He's a fantastic prospect.

2022 Regulations - New Super Heat after Draw!!
arnieg replied to Roger Jacobs's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
To be honest I'm not totally opposed to this, BUT a] it has come completely out of left field, why no chance to discuss it before the rulebook drops, which might have increased the chance of getting it right b] if this change is the right way to go why not apply it to ALL leagues -
Talking of odds I wonder what odds you'd have got on Weber for WC in January?
-
I'm in the hate camp, but I still acknowledge that he's good at what he does and he makes a positive contribution to the atmosphere at Monmore.

Keep up, announced yesterday https://britishspeedway.co.uk/miscellaneous/acu-statement-invasion-of-ukraine/

French league 2023 fixtures, teams , news
arnieg replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
Would make a good pre season warm up in early March. BUT Can you imagine how you'd have been laughed at for suggesting this 10 years ago? -
I'm inclined to think beating Woffinden, Fricke and Michelsen in a single meeting suggests he might be ok at the NSS.
